"The history of the cottage transformation in photos was amazing! It is clear the property owners are proud of their work and have paid great attention to detail. The very comfortable bed and tranquil setting was just the quiet reprieve for us harried tourists! The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Thank you so much for the stay, it was lovely!"

"The “newly refurbished “ Victorian courtyard has great potential! A clean and quiet accommodation with modern on-suite rooms in the recently renovated carriage-house area of a beautiful estate. Great start! Unfortunately, poor access to hot water, a dis-jointed kitchen with only a microwave/hot plate and kettle with sink in another room and poor quality mattress/pillows ….all situated next to the wafting smells of the cattle yard. A great possibility but it needs more work to be a quality...

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean, has every amenity, a well kitted out kitchen. Very cozy, quiet but also close enough to grab groceries and enjoy local sites. The hosts are amazing! We would definitely stay here again, or recommend it to family and friends."

"Our stay in Magherafelt was lovely in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our hosts, Siobhan and John, were simply wonderful. "We absolutely loved our stay. Location was amazing, the views breath taking and the house simply gorgeous. Our hosts Siobhan and John were such a lovely couple and we loved getting the chance to meet them. They made our stay so relaxed and comfortable we found it so hard to leave. "This is not our first time staying here. Overall our experience was good however some members of staff were not very friendly whilst other were very friendly. our room has some bottle tops left on the floor from the previous guest which always feels strange but in the main it was clean. "Firstly, staff here are fantastic! So helpful and nothing is any bother. The hotel itself is nice, there's a decent size car park and it's easy to find. The food and the Guinness is pretty good too. My 3 grumbles: my £125 room was pretty small, the bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower was woeful. I'd stay again if in the area but wouldn't look forward to it."
