"We really didn’t know much about Brandt Beach and Mattapoisett going into this trip and by Tuesday we were making plans for next year. This neighborhood is so friendly and quiet. The small beach is a delight! Calm and peaceful in the morning and hardly ever crowded. The house was so well stocked and had everything you needed and more! We were there the week of the 4th and were invited to participate in the parade and potluck which was so wonderful! I hope to vacation here again soon! "

"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...
