"Spent 4 nights in mid-August and thoroughly enjoyed it! Katie is a gracious host, answering questions before arrival and greeting us with a quick overview when we checked in. She and her husband Curt live in the house next door, but you would never know it. Nice to know they are close by in case something is needed. "Possibly my favorite vrbo stay I can remember. The cabin is secluded, has great views and is close to several interesting sites: St. Elmo ghost town, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, Cascasde falls and Agnes Veille falls to name a few. The property itself was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the picnic table, sitting on the breezy patio in the evening, grilling dinner and most of all sitting in the hot tub under the starry sky."

"This was the perfect home base for our guys fishing trip on the Arkansas River. It was on a beautiful property that offered seclusion on Chalk Creek yet was right in the middle of the fishing and outdoor action. Easy access to alpine lakes (we fished Hancock lake), the Arkansas River, as well as as short drive over to the South Platte to try our hand at the Dream Stream. This property was really comfortable and felt like home."

"Booked this property for a quick weekend away from the city and wasn’t disappointed. We were able to see the autumn colors, experience the first snow of the year and enjoy some hikes and walks in the area. The cabin was cozy and a perfect size for 2 people. We didn’t cook but there is ample space in the kitchen if someone wanted to. The blinds on the skylight were broken sovto much sun came in and the bedroom was hot ,when asked the management for a fan ,they said they couldn't provide one. "This house was great for our family and extended family for a wedding weekend. They accommodated our young children as well as dogs. There were a few downsides of no fenced in backyard, and the basement smelled like dog urine. Overall, the host was very responsive and made sure our stay was great! "

"I highly recommend this property it was absolutely beautiful. The stream behind the house was gorgeous and brought a deer and her fawns several of the mornings we were there. The house is well equipped for large groups and it was the perfect spot. Not too far from town but also peaceful and secluded. Buena Vista was a short 10-15 min drive. Perfect."

"It was very clean and had all the things we needed. We bought sugar for our coffee not knowing if we would need it or not and ended up cleaning out the hummingbird feeders and putting fresh sugar water in them. They seem bigger there than in TN. It was perfect!!!"

"Proximity to Monarch Ski area and pass was very convenient. Hot tub was nice to come back to after skiing. The art and decor was local history and unique. We used the small kitchen and enjoyed the use of the stove, oven and microwave. pots and utensils to cook for four. The bunk beds in the hall were firm, but good for smaller children."

"I stopped here on the ski off season (good price) on my way back from.a backpacking trip in the Colorado Rockies. Old building, but bring kept up quite well. I hoghly recommend a dtop here in the off season. Very friendly staff who go all out to make your dtsy a nice one. "
