"I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice."

"I booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. The location, interior design, quality of everything in the hours and the garden were top class. This house has been so well designed and has created the most relaxing environment as well as providing entertainment for all. "Location amazing, disappointed with lack of welcome pack/goodies,no shampoo etc in shower and amount of white doghair on floor/ marks on doors.The information sheet was out of date with unhelpful information and failed to extend to giving direction as tohow to operate the oven which was also not fitted correctly and caught against the ajacent drawers."

"This flat is wonderful with amazing sea views. Well appointed and a good heating system. We had a lovely week discovering Bute. Recommend the weekly jam session at the Anchor At Port Ballantine. Most places accept dogs and there’s some good food to be had in local cafes and bars."

"Le lieu est très cocooning, le chalet agréable donne sur une très belle vue. Les accessoires de cuisine nécessiteraient un suivi. Quid de cet appareil avec compteur branché dans la cuisine dont nous n’avons pas obtenu la fonction auprès du propriétaire. Une caméra sur la terrasse.... Le point le plus gênant est l’enclavement du lieu qui nécessite de faire déjà 30’ de voiture sur une très belle mais très petite route avant de rejoindre un grand axe."

"We were marooned in the Kames Hotel when excessive rain, flooding and landslides closed all the roads out. We could not manage to get to the wedding we had come to attend (neither could the celebrant, hairdresser, makeup artiste..) but we sat in all our finery with glass in hand beside a roaring log fire in the guest sitting room and thoroughly enjoyed the Google Meet wedding of the year ! Great food, company and staff who did all they could to make our stay comfortable. "
