Entering the house you walk into a sun porch with exposed stone walls which has lovely views over the garden, surrounding hills and estuary. The comfortable seating allows you to make the most of this room. Walk through into the open plan ground floor; to the right is the kitchen, dining and additional sitting area which has exposed beams, wood burning stove and Belfast sink finished with local Caithness flag stone. To the left is the lounge with comfortable seating, open fire, small library and television and DVD player.
The house has oil central heating. The stairs lead up from the lounge to the first floor, here the landing area contains a small DVD library and linen storage area, linen is included with this property. The bathroom contains a bath with independent shower above it. There is one spacious double bedroom and a further double bedroom with additional single bed.
Walk out the door and on to the beach - heaven for you and your dog, then come home to relax in the sun lounge. However it's also an ideal location for hill walkers, those with an interest in archaeology and or geology. The local museum provides a comprehensive insight into the past of the Highlands and archaeological finds in the area. Bettyhill has one shop and Post Office, a hotel, an Inn, and a cafe and a swimming pool. Locally sourced produce and sea food can be purchased and is also served in the local Hotels, which are dotted across the area.
