Amazing Three Rivers two story cabin near the National Park entrance. Enjoy uninterrupted mountain and river views! You're likely to see deer, wild turkey, and other wildlife. Located just steps from the Skyline Trailhead! A walkable neighborhood, plenty of flat parking, outside dining and lounging areas, and views from the dining room, living room, bedrooms, and balconies that are second to none! Professionally designed and curated for Sequoia National Park guests. The perfect escape for Nat'l Park adventurers, hikers, and nature lovers!
The Space
Inside, you'll find a unique three rivers property with stairs heading up to the main level with living room and kitchen, and down to the three bedrooms. Upstairs, the windows and skylight let in plenty of natural mountain light. The cozy living room features a smart TV, space to gather with the family, and a twin-day bed that can be used for either lounging or sleeping. The built-in banquette dining table was custom-built by the homeowners to maximize the incredible views from the kitchen window. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for your morning cup of coffee and your family's favorite dinner. Sliding glass doors from the dining room and living room lead out to the balcony overlooking Three Rivers, the Kaweah River, and the National Park in the distance. This is the reason for the name "The Lookout", you can see everything from here. Downstairs, there are three bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen bed and amazing views. Another bedroom has a king bed. The primary suite features a king bed, TV, en suite bathroom, and access to the lower balcony, again with phenomenal views. The garage is not used for parking, but instead, you'll find yard games inside. We know you'll love this cabin from the minute you pull up! It's easy to access, offers modern conveniences, and encompasses that Three River's vibe you've been craving.
The Neighborhood
Skyline is one of the most popular trails in the area, and The Lookout is walking distance to the trailhead! Our neighbors are all wonderful and friendly. There is a mixture of permanent residents and vacation rentals in the area. Though we wouldn't consider this cabin within walking distance to the village restaurants of Three Rivers, it's less than a 5-minute drive to the nearest restaurant.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! Check-in after 4 pm. Check out by 11 am. Our office hours are between 8 am-9 pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9 pm.
2. Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Pets are not allowed. The home has many stairs and a high balcony that may not be suitable for young children, adventurous toddlers in particular.
3. No unauthorized parties! Please treat The Lookout as if it's your own. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, outdoor dining area) games, and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If this doesn't sound like a good fit, let us know what you're looking for and we can point you in the right direction. We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
6. Act like a local! Please don't leave trash outside where it will attract bears and other wild animals. There is a provided trash bin for your convenience. The National Parks have a saying- "Take only memories, leave only footprints." In other words, don't take items from the park or forest, and don't leave behind trash or other manmade materials. Thank you for helping us keep Three Rivers and Sequoia National Park beautiful!
Things to Note:
The cabin is two story and has tiled stairs which may be dangerous for unsupervised toddlers. We do have a baby gate in place on the upper level. The second-story balcony is high, and even though there is ample railing, we still ask you keep an eye on children at all times. This may not be the best choice if you have "a climber". The fireplace is non-functional (but the home has central heating). Wild animals such as rattlesnakes, deer, bears, and mountain lions are native to Three Rivers. All recreational activities are done at your own risk.
