"The hosts, Shane and son Chase, were super. Any question which came up were immediately answered . We stayed here thru the July 1st and July 4th holiday week. You can just forget any fears you may have about being inside a campground as noted in the description as it was very quite especially for a long weekend. "This is a great property at the Outlet, on Charleston Lake. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect for our getaway. Cabin is clean, well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh linens, fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake. Our host was fabulous. Great spot at the end of the laneway for snacks/icecream, breakfast and much more. Our only regret is that it was only a short staycation/recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"We loved our 3 days and 4 nights at The Dance Hall. The wood burning stove was enjoyed and appreciated as the weather was quite cool and wet. We loved listening and watching the loons, geese and herons from the dock. We did some paddling in the kayaks provided around islands not too far from shore. The cottage is filled with interesting antiques, cookbooks, a record player and records. We would love to come again. "

"Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out. "

"The cottage was perfectly located half way between Montreal and Toronto so that all families could meet up for a birthday party! The weather was rainy, but the lake was warm so it didn't stop anyone from jumping in for most of the time! The cottage was well-equipped so everyone could sleep comfortably and eat all together! The property manager was communicative and accommodating to our needs and would highly recommend this location for a short or long term stay!"

Amazing huge deck to view the loons, swans, ducks & geese. 5 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect for my family of 8 people with a long dining table so we could all sit down together.
