"Excellent! Great little place to stay, I had the studio accommodation and it was very well stocked with fresh bread, milk, butter, jam, biscuits, chocolates, cakes and the kitchen was well stocked with stuff like the simple things like tinfoil which are extra things a lot of places don't do. Credit to the team here, the rooms are lovely, warm and well maintained. The extra touches with the food is a great idea and very welcome. People were very helpful on check in and the place was very quiet...

"The Studio was well-equipped although a tight fit in places like the kitchen and toilet. The lounge, TV viewing area and bed were good although we did not use the TV. There were plenty of books and games to use during the stay. The conservatory area was very good with lovely picture windows offering views over the neighbouring farmer's field which offered a variety of wildlife, including Muntjac deer, golden pheasant, rabbits and a multitude of smaller birds Parking was on the street right...

They property is a small village with several local short walks and close to a couple of pubs, also within walking distance that serve good food. "Thimble Cottage is sweet and nicely decorated but was a bit too small for 4 not large adults in our opinion. Easy location to explore delightful Southwold from. It was however rather noisy (bus stop and lovely pop up bakery queues outside main bedroom window from early in the morning, dog grooming parlour immediately behind the tiny courtyard, public bins being emptied at 5:30am in the High St). We were also greeted with an overflowing bin of rubbish in the courtyard from previous guests which...

"Couldn't have hoped for anything better, it was exactly as described, and even more beautiful in person. Mel communicated and answered all my questions, we also had Garry on hand all weekend via phone if we needed anything. Group of ladies, so the privacy was perfect, although closest shop was a 10 min drive, we had everything we needed. "

"All terrific except that one of us doesn’t sleep well in the double bed - though the mattress is very comfortable the bed frame does jiggle about every time one person moves, affecting the other. I’m sure sounder sleepers wouldn’t complain - personal problem! Otherwise we love the cottage and its location and this time enjoyed having friends to dinner too. Thank you Abi and Ed"

"Overall good 👍 excellent nights sleep. Not enamoured with the phone system we had difficulty contacting the hotel, too many hoops to jump through. Bathroom although looks good had a few issues eg, toilet flush coming off the wall and towel holder also loose, however the shower was great but not easy to adjust."
