"The overall stay was great. The house was very clean and close to the trail system so we were able to ride sxs during the day and enough room we could all hang out at night. I do think it’s important to note the bedroom situation isn’t as described. This is listed as 6 bedrooms, which I did ask about before arrival and was told it’s 4 bedrooms, 2 of the bedrooms are divided by a wall; therefore creating 4 spaces. I was told upstairs had 1 king, 3 Queens, and a full over twin bunk. In reality...

"Not great communication. No response when asked if early check in was possible. "Hot tub" listed in amenities is actually a jet bathtub (standard tub size) Never have i been charged a cleaning fee and then have the owner expect us to sweep, mop, dust, change light bulbs if they burn out, take garbahe to curb, etc. "

"Cute cabin with an adorable decor. Walking distance to a restaurant/bar with one pool table. There is another bar (Black Bear) just a few miles away with 2 pool tables. Both bars have great owners and are very fun. This is a beautiful location. "

"We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water."

"Enjoyed our stay here during a bird hunting trip. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Liked the rural wooded setting. Appreciated having a fire pit and firewood available. Would definitely stay here again"

"I stayed here with 9 of my friends and we very much enjoyed the broad common space with a pool table, bar and great TV and couches. We also appreciated that no one had to share a bed and that plenty of ATV routes were nearby. Highly recommend this place!"

"Everything was super clean, the host is welcoming, the location is perfect, the lake is across the street. There are also bikes and kayaks for free to use. Enjoyed it!"

"This home was wonderful starting with the location in the are and extending to the location on a peninsula on the water. the rooms were more than adequate for the four us. A good gas kitchen and eating area with ample sitting area. including a screened in porch. We felt very secluded. we would rent this home again."

"Norm and Sue are wonderfull people. So glad we got to talk a little before I went off hiking. Wife and son did some fishing and relaxed in cabin while I hiked and I did same after hiking both days. All in all was a very pleasent stay. I would recommend to all. "

"Wonderful place to stay"

"Great time with some friends, cabin just as described it better!"

"We had a great stay at this property. We were in the middle of a 2 week tent camping trip and stayed for 3 nights. Washer and dryer worked well and the place provided all the comforts of home. View was beautiful. "

"We had six adults staying, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans and dishes, but no potholders. There were plenty of beds to choose from. It was lacking in comfy chairs in the family room (just one couch), and there were no chairs to use on the deck. The biggest complaint was we had to take our garbage with us on checkout or get charged for leaving it. Overall, it was a quiet location and a nice place to stay."

"A great hostess! Big two-story house on the lake with plenty of room for parking. (Map directions out in advance because cell coverage is weak or nonexistent, but house has wifi.) Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step...
