"A relaxing, rejuvenating,peaceful stay with nature all around.Our 2 dogs enjoyed romping around the beach at Cow Bay and swimming in Moo Creek. Overall an enjoyable quiet stay in a beautiful environment."

"It's a really beautiful spot and the house is beautiful too. Mostly as advertised, but not quite, On arrival, you find that it's solar powered and water is rainwater so you're asked not to use any electrical appliances, minimise use of wi-fi and minimise water usage. Eco credentials are commendable but the limitations should be made clear before you book and pay top dollar. There is no washing machine (cos it would use too much power) although booking sites said there was one. Photos of the pool...

"The place was beautiful and the views from the deck were spectacular. Saw many types of birds and butterflies from the deck. It was a great location for all our day trips to snorkel and explore. Highly recommend this place."

"The beach Villa was nice. Unfortunately 6 out of 7 days were gale force winds. Their was only 2 afternoons I could sit outside to enjoy a glass of wine and swim in the pool. Improvements definately need to be looked at. For executive villa I would have expected a nice bath tub to relax, a small area of fencing for dog so they don't run down to the beach and get eaten by Croc.The hallway light didn't work from the downstairs,Microwave door didn't close(had to slam it shut).Upstairs bathroom tiles...

"Newell Beach is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it"

"The communication and ease of booking is excellent . The house is clean and has a lovely look over the beach . It was windy while we were there . I’m not sure if that is usual and you can’t swim in the beach due to crocodiles however it’s stunnng to wake to the sound and look of waves . Great managers of the property! Also no blinds and doors are not solid so you can hear everything"

"The house is surrounded by Daintree forest. As described, the bottom floor (kitchen and amenities) is open to nature, and some interesting wildlife came to visit (mainly geckos, but also fireflies and spiders). The location is excellent for exploring the Daintree."

The house is grotty, the furnishings and some fittings (both indoors and outdoors) are old, dirty, mismatched both in style and colour with random pieces of mismatched furniture throughout. The bed covers are worn and old, all the cushions are worn and old and even dirty. Many wall hangings have been removed...

"Very happy with the bungalow we had. It was perfect for a couple and we loved being in the rainforest. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were also great. Our flight was delayed and we were arriving later than anticiapted but they were able to accommodate a later check in on short notice. Our gps was taking us further than the actual bungalow but there was signage so we found it easily even in the dark. I think the highlight of us staying here was being woken up by a...
