"We had a wonderful time at this location. The home's setup was lovely, and we were tucked away from any other people on the property. There was plenty for us to do, between exploring the property, fishing in the pond, and relaxing on the porch. Communication before and during our stay was prompt and helpful. "My wife and I like to stay out away from Bryan/College Station when attending TAMU football games to avoid the traffic and crowds. The Cottage is in a nice location in the country. Great views f4om the front porch. Super clean and a really comfortable bed. Also, the owners are a pleasure to deal with. We will be back next season."

"It’s a lovely spot to unwind and disconnect. The property was impeccably clean, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a drive from Austin, so Bastrop is the best place for food or groceries. There’s no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal retreat from reality. The only downside was that during our stay we heard some loud music from a nearby bar, which was audible from the cabana. It was manageable, but light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. Thank you for the cookies! "

"We found this property to be as described. For us, the location was perfect. We were only 10 minutes from our family allowing us to spend more time with them in Hutto. Want to also note that the neighborhood was quiet and clean. Don't overlook downtown Hutto! I had no idea what the little downtown had to offer. We had a wonderful time celebrating an important birthday."

"We celebrated our 27th Anniversary by going to the MotorCycle Class in Taylor this weekend. We did't want a hotel, and just wanted a little space for relaxing while not at the Cycle Safety course. This place was WONDERFUL for us. The love seat in the living room has just enough space for two, and the sweet little corner with the fire place added a nice cozy feel as well. There are dishes and a few pots and pans, the whole place is SUPER clean, and the tub is REALLY DEEP! So nice. Everything...

"Our stay at the Zen Country Retreat was perfect! The house was super clean, had every amenity you'd need for your stay (including great support for kids), and was super comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, I was truly shocked by how quiet and peaceful it was out there. No traffic noise, no rowdy neighbors, it was all very peaceful. We also LOVED the s'mores ingredients; my kids had a blast making them, and it was a very nice, homey touch!"
