"A quiet peaceful property with horses goats and ducks to meet! Heating was great in the cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch getting some fresh air."

"I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. "

"We stayed at the house end of August. The weather was really nice, warm during the day and chilly at night. The house overall was nice, clean and well equipped. The road to the house is interesting… dirt road thought the woods and you have to cross a small creek. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The town itself is bit boring, nothing really there to see or do. It’s a perfect location if you’re planning on staying at the house and Anjou the beautiful view in the back. We had a great time....

"This is a nice, historic farmhouse on a stream right outside of Hancock, NY. Centrally located for drift boat trips on the West Branch and Mainstem. Although it is on a two lane road, the backyard is very private and the large windows give a great view of the stream."

"Beautiful, tranquil, setting. Very peaceful. House was very well stocked, with more amenities than other rentals we have gone to. Owner was easy to get in touch with, and responded quickly. Overall, a very enjoyable week."

"My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing long weekend. The check in process was easy and the house was clean. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out on the water. We appreciated having a nice hot tub right outside as the afternoon got colder. It was nice having wood available to build a fire in the fire pit. I would have liked to stay a little longer."

"Awesome old house with 150 year charm but with all amenities that matter. The cottage was spacious and clean. The hosts were a pleasure to work with. Excellent location on the pristine lake for folks looking for a relaxing time and those who love water activities."
