"The house has beautiful views and is very spacious. The host was very communicative and the place was a wonderful deal. The hot water has a very bad aroma, sulfur I believe, and it would be nice if it could be filtered in a way to remove the smell. The outside temps got up to about 80 and the loft area got very warm making it a little difficult for the guest who was up there to sleep. "We enjoyed the rental very much and the location was excellent in a quiet area. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and down by the waterfront in the evening. Our only complaint would be the window air conditioning units not quite keeping the bedroom cool, but that wouldn’t keep us from staying here again!"

"We enjoyed or stay at Capt. Bernie's place in Clayton. A nicely decorated and very clean house on a quiet dead end street. The hosts supplied everything needed for a stay of any length from pots, pans, dishes in the kitchen, to snacks, coffee and ice. Bathrooms had shampoo, soap and bodywash. Towels were fantastic! Wouldn't hesitate to stay with the Captain again!"

"Whitney is a great host! This apartment is much bigger than the pictures make it appear. The kitchen is awesome, the marina docks are well maintained and there’s power at each one with a regular 110 volt outlet, no need for an adapter. "This property was awesome! Stayed with some co-workers for a fishing charter trip. House was clean and fit 5 people comfortably. Met the people at the rental house next door and made new friends. Property has a bunch of firepits with awesome view of the sunset over Boldt Castle. The owners were great to communicate with and very accommodating. We are hoping to have the entire office stay at the Ledges for next year's fishing trip."

"We had a great weekend fishing get away at this Black Lake rental, such a great location. It was clean and tidy, well furnished. The private shared dock was awesome tucked away out of steady boat traffic. Great communication too. Will definitely be going back. "
