"We love Amber Lantern! Tom is an amazing host and kind and available. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!"
"The room had a little kitchen, new bath and a full size grill and little deck attached. I wasn't super thrilled with the fact that it was like a driveway where our deck was and people across the way had a boombox speaker going. Lots of kids running around, basketballs and ping pong balls hitting the cars. We were able to cook a nice meal. It would be great for a family. There was one queen size bed and two twin beds in a separate room. The living room was fairly rudimentary, no coffee table....

"Our one-night stay at Nordick's Inn worked out great. Folks at the front desk were friendly and happy to help. Our king bed was super comfortable and the room had easy access to the parking lot and the pool. Chairs outside the room overlooked all including a view of the lake. Danny and Kathleen both helped us out with great communication ahead of our visit and flexibility in accommodating our requests as we tried to fit in a lengthy bike ride on the Bikeway the morning of our departure. "There was a bit of a mix up with payment and the owner took care of everything with kindness and courtesy. We needed to leave early due to illness and they continued to be courteous.
We will definitely be going back and staying at the Brookside. "

AC worked great and bathroom big and very clean.
My only suggestion/concern was that there is no way to bolt door from inside the room - so anyone with the code could access the room at anytime."
"The pool is great for the kids, the breakfast and lunch at the bar are good and they don’t break the bank. Being able to walk down to the water and not worry about the kids terribly is always a plus. We love it. Hidden gem. "
