"It's rare that a property is actually better than the photos shown, but that was the case at Le Chalet Apres. It was like a West Elm catalog, but with cute wall decor added (my favorite being the cuckoo clock). The bedding was high quality, the towels were fluffy and absorbent, and the nice touches like live plants, extra toilet paper, etc. were much appreciated. Communication with the hosts, Adam & Bree, was excellent. It was so easy to check in and the directions for leaving were in print...

"We loved this property; it was great for a low-key girls' getaway. We ended up just relaxing here both nights of our stay, as town was so busy; this place was clean and comfortable. We had an outdoor patio area that was relatively private even though there are other properties nearby; we enjoyed sitting by the fire and chatting. "We had 11 family members ranging in age from 25 to 92. Fantastic house with 2 separate living areas and kitchens. Very warm and comfortable. Also the bus stop is right at top of drive which was great for our elderly parents. Would definitely stay here next year"

"Pictures do not give you the overall condition of the property. Toilet seat lid hinge was broken. Two drawers broken, so couldn’t use for clothes. Ceiling fan didn’t work. There’s a sewer type smell in the kitchen area. The couch should be replaced as the cushions have no support. If the owner would spend a little money on upkeep, this cabin may be worth it. I do not believe VRBO should represent this property until these issues are fixed."
