"House location was perfect with beautiful mountain views from every window. The bathroom arrangement is a bit odd with a singular toilet in a room upstairs as well as a sink and shower (only) in a separate room on the other side of the upstairs space. The beds are comfortable but make sure to take shampoo/conditioner etc. as that is not provided. Overall, a perfect place to stay for a long weekend of exploring and hiking."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Gordon and Viv's house. It was very clean and tidy and was super war and cosy. It had everything we needed,and more! So close to town too. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog to stay and she loved your house too. It was fenced very well for a dog. Thanks so much and we will definitely be coming to stay again! Maybe summer next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area too 😊"

"We enjoyed walking down to the lake & relaxing. A great location to visit Milford Sound & Te Anua! The beds were comfy. We slept well! We were happy that the location was back from the main roadway. We didn’t hear the traffic."

"Exactly as described. Caring host. Loved the mountain views, native birdlife and peace and quiet. The bikes were useful. Handy location to visit the sounds and to town centre. "

"The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues "

"Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable."

"Beautiful environment with easy walk to awesome river with running rapids. Modern spacious accommodation, with a variety of animals around and views. Easy short drive from the Te Anau. Highly recommend. "

"Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again"

"Great location; great welcome, with freshly baked break, juice, loaf, with jam and butter along with milk - best ever! Very sad we couldn't stay there again tonight 11 April, as we were evacuated from our Milford Track walk."

"Não é um hotel novo, um pouquinho desgastado mas nada que comprometa muito. O tamanho da suite é muito bom, a cama é confortável, tinha frigobar. Quando entramos no quarto e fomos tomar banho reparamos que havia um sabonete usado na saboneteira do chuveiro"

"O hotel está muito bem localizado. No entanto se você procura conforto, privacidade esse hotel não é a melhor opção. O hotel é excelente para hospedagem para quem viaja com vans ou veículos de carro maior. É bom para as pessoas que viajam com essa modalidade de carro. O banheiro é limpo, porém compartilhado com todos. Isso para minha viagem é muito ruim pois gosto de privacidade. Choveu durante a madrugada e se vc precisar ir ao banheiro terá que sair da sua acomodação. Não gosto de hotel sem banheiro privativo. As acomodações tb não são muito confortáveis. Tem cama, mesa, mas tudo muito apertado. Enfim, se vc viaja em grupo e com carro tipo van essa é uma opção. Se quer conforto e privacidade não recomendo. "
