"Short notice stay price was very good, location was lovely, the food was excellent and just a bit different and breakfast was good with a good range and choice"
"Return visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away
Breakfast has various choices to suit different appetite too and family friendly. Would return again"
"This property is so fun! Your room is above a really cool, esthetic vintage bar. We had the top room and it was pretty big. You couldn’t hear any of the people downstairs just the delivery people and trash collectors, outside. The views from the windows look out to a big ship/restaurant. It’s also a stones throw from the train station. "
"Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. "Amazing location and friendly staff. It’s going through a refurb and the lift is currently out of order but they warned us before hand and offered to help with luggage! The hotel is so quaint and the room was perfect for us (family room)!Our room had an amazing view of the abbey! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant and that was amazing!! 0% alcohol on tap which is amazing (I’m alcohol free and normally stuck with bottles).Planning on many more trips...
"The room was great for our needs, very spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I was holidaying with my teenage granddaughter and the twin beds gave us plenty of room.
It was about a 10 minute walk to the harbour (anout 30 minutes to walk back, it's a very steep hill! Dont believe google maps that says mostly flat!)
There is a bus stop outside the hotel but we didn't use it. However, on our last evenung we had a taxi and it was £4.50."

"Amazing stay! Me and my partner were staying in Robin hoods bay and due to go home, however saw this place and had to stay and extra night in the area! And sooo glad we did! We stayed in Cape town and definitely 10/10, clean, beautiful and the bath is just utter bliss!
