"Visited Windham with family and luckily I came across this beautiful house to stay. This will be my to go place in Windham. The indoor pool was a plus, kids had a lot of fun. One thing I’ll mention is level of chlorine in the water, my kids had teary and itchy eyes and coughing after being in the pool for awhile. They got better the next day. "Happy Minnewaska is a great place for making memories! Our family really enjoyed our time there, relaxing, hiking in the surrounding area and making s'mores around the campfire. The house is just as pictured, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking, which is all we did. "We did not end up staying at this property because the host cancelled on us the day before. He reached out 2 months prior to tell us his pool would not be available and offered us a 20% refund. But he never provided it and did not communicate about this again. When we followed up about it, he cancelled the whole stay and tried to get us to change properties last minute. "We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!"
