"This location for a city rental is unbeatable. Easy walking to the main city sites and pubs, local Tesco and other convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants. And driving access to points north and west was also easy and we had wonderful day trips to Connamara, the Kylemore Abbey, Achill island the Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo. "We needed a place that was fairly close to Limerick, the Burren and within walking distance of the shops and cafes. This house fitted our needs. Communication with the owner was good and instructions for entry and operation of the backdoor lock were clear. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bathrooms made getting ready for the day easier."

"This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. "This was a lovely property in every way. Three spacious bedrooms, conservatory with a beautiful view, a cozy warm home, especially when coming back from a damp day. Bertie was very generous with her ‘welcome’ food basket, we hardly needed to go shopping. It is about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay so don’t expect to be walking into town though. But once you’ve spent your day exploring, spending the evening at home was quite nice"

"Nice spot in Quin. Best for persons with rental cars. Not really walkable (dangerous road without a bright yellow vest) to Quin village but taxis and Uber is available, if you’re lucky and patient. Clean, welcoming, all you need for a long stay including washing machine, dryer, fridge, dining ware, cutlery, etc. Would stay again. "

"The property is in an ideal location for Galway City and surrounding area.. It is dated and could do with some TLC ,along with the garden. The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! "

"There were seven in our group, four adults and three teenagers. The home was very comfortable with plenty of room. It was a good jumping off point for day trips to Galway and Shannon, and lots of sightseeing in between. Sally was a great host, and very quickly responded to a couple of requests we had. "Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "

"This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...

"Aran View Country House was the perfect venue for 18 of us (!) (including the back house) to celebrate our Irish heritage with our father. The in-house "pub" was a perfect gathering place in the evenings, as was the pool room. Industrial kitchen was amazing, as was the dining room. Rooms were super comfy, all of which had their own bath. Location was also perfect for biking and hiking trips to the Aran Islands, the Burren, and Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin close by for some dinners and pub nights...
