"Amazing boutique hotel! Very fashionable and confortable! Beautiful building. Staff was perfect. In an area with lots of restaurants. Top breakfast! I will give high review for the stylish decor! From the bed to the shower, everything was fantastic!"

"The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff were welcoming and the breakfast was great. We ate at the pub on a couple of evenings. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend. "

"This was a nice room for two people and all the facilities were as described. The photos are an accurate representation. Great communication via WhatsApp/text with Kelvin House prior to our departure, which was greatly appreciated. It would be useful to have a mirror in the room as well as in the shared bathroom. We had to wait 20 minutes for the bathroom to be vacated by the folks in the other room in order to use the mirror. The bed pillows were the bolster type and gave us both a stiff...

"For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away."

"I needed a one night stay before my flight. Although not an ensuite i had a bathroom along the corridor to myself. Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. "

"Beautiful property, lovely gardens. Breakfast was amazing - great mushrooms! Bed was huge and comfortable. Staff were fab - very helpful. Only downside is no door between the bathroom and bedroom - so very little privacy. "
