The hotel was decently kept, had some nice amenities (to include the indoor pool) - which also helped to limit road noise, and had very nice staff and a decent breakfast. The only real complaint here is that there are not good places near by for food - the covered bridge restaurant across the road completely screwed up my order and the food there was horrible (rancid lettuce in the salad was just the start). "Before the pandemic, we stayed here a few times and enjoyed it. We decided to try again this week. What a pleasant surprise to stay in a totally updated 2 bedroom unit. Wow! Super impressed with the Summit. Super quiet at night, beautifully taken care of resort and close to so many fun things. 5 stars!!!"

"It was a nice little place, but you're not going to get a "hotel" experience, if that's what you're looking for. It's in a beautiful location, and the ability to go outside and sit by the firepits (gas lit with a timer, so very easy to turn on) is wonderful. On the flip side, the rooms are a little small, there's no real service like a hotel, and if someone is staying there with kids, it can be loud, as the walls don't seem to stop sound very well.
