Great Family Vacation
Our extended family - including 9 adults and 7 children - spent a wonderful week at the Cabin on Clear Creek. It was very clean and spacious - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our crew. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the Creek - and we spent many of our days hiking to the various waterfalls within reasonable driving distance. The owner was very gracious and responsive.

Great off the path location.
It is a very nicely built and equipped cabin that has both inside and outside activities. Sits off the road and is very relaxing and quiet.

Get away in the woods
Upon arrival at the "Family Cabin" we were greeted with the sight of a beautiful large log home nestled in the woods, that comfortably accomodated our yoga/hiking/friends group of 11 ladies. The kitchen was well equiped for each breakfast and dinner we shared. Two12 cup coffee pots make morning coffee on the porch a great start to any morning. Plenty of hot water for showers and comfortable beds for a great night sleep. The home was clean and ready for us to check in. Wood for the firepit or indoor fireplaces was readily available and board games were plenty along w the pool table, darts and pac man for those who wantted to play. The hot tubs (yes 2 of them) were ready to go when returned from long hikes. Explore the great trails directly behing the home or travel to several of the State Parks in the area. Crossville is a short drive away for dinner or a show at the Playhouse. Owners are so easy to contact and very responsive. We highly recommend the Family Cabin for your next get away. You will be glad you went.

House was in a good location and in very good shape. Could use some outdoor chairs around the fire pit and on the porches. Slightly disappointed that beds were not made up. We would highly recommend this property to others.

Great Cabin
We loved this cabin. It was very easy to get to- good roads the whole way and plenty of parking. The cabin was very clean which I am picky about. The host was very responsive. We had an issue with an upstairs air conditioner and the host got a repairman out the next day. The cabin is roomy and laid out well. High end kitchen appliances. The mattresses are great- you do have to make your own bed which is unusual but not a big deal. I am assuming they do this so you know you have clean bedding. The hot tubs were nice and clean. Some things to note: There is no outdoor furniture so be sure to bring chairs to enjoy the huge porch. We only had 9 people in our group so we had plenty of towels/washcloths (not many hand towels) but if you have a large group you might want to bring extra towels. There is little to no insulation/sound dampening between the floors so you can hear every sound and movement on the floors above and below you. I am including a description of the bedroom/bathroom layout because this was something I was curious about. Main floor master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom. Other bedroom on main floor has 2 queen beds and bathroom across the hall. Upstairs has one bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom. Other upstairs bedroom has 2 queen beds and en suite bathroom. Basement has one bedroom with bunk beds and another bedroom with 2 queen beds and bathroom is right outside bedroom doors. Again we loved this cabin and would stay again.

Beautiful Property
What a terrific cabin! Such a great layout for our multi-family trip. The room in the basement with 2 sets of bunkbeds was absolutely perfect for our tweens and teens who giggle all night and usually keep us adults awake. There are plenty of activities to keep them busy too. They played darts, pool and even a pac-man machine that was a huge hit. Owner was very responsive if we needed anything.

Beautiful cabin
The cabin was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well supplied with no sortage of cookware. Also, the hosts were very accommodating and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our family enjoyed our time there it was one of the few houses that fit us all comfortably.

Great Property with good potential
Overall beautiful cabin and location. The property is beautiful with a stream and wooded trails. Very clean and nice layout. The house sleeps 18+ (we had 19) but is only furnished for 8-10 at most as far as seating and kitchen provisions (coffee cups, serving bowls, baking sheets, etc all insufficient for more than 8 ppl). If you have a larger group or a week long stay, plan to bring extra seating, towels and kitchen necessities. Once they get more living room, game room and deck seating and stock the kitchen facilitate meal prep for 20, this property would be a clear 5 star property.

Great place for family get-together "staycation"
Four families came together from different states. Had a room (& bathroom) for each couple/individual as well as the bunkbed room downstairs for the 2 older children and other room for the infants with pack-n-plays. The surround porch was great for the kids to run around as well as the trail and creek to discover. Lots of space in living room for the kids to play together. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, a nice big fridge, dishwasher and gas stove. It would have been nice to have basic instructions for oven use but figured it out quickly. Only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some chairs in the bedrooms and on porch.

A very needed vacation

Wonderful property! Very close to tons of outdoor recreation.
Some friends and I had such a great weekend at this cabin. Everything was so nice. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed being so close to tons of different outdoor activities. Will book again in the future!

Perfect cabin stay
This cabin was the perfect place to hold our family Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room and all the amenities. The kids enjoyed making smores around the fire pit and hanging out in the game room. The kitchen was great for making our meals. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get away and has a large crowd.

Beautiful retreat for us girls
This property is to die for!. We booked it for our girls trip as it was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit. It was large enough for all of us and THEN SOME! It’s far away from any other neighbors or homes so it’s very private. The fire pit was fun as well as the game room downstairs. We took a dip in the hot tub, hiked the property, and cooked up a storm. The kitchen had plenty to work with. We did not have the best weather unfortunately, it rained a lot. But we utilized the covered areas on the patio if we wanted to be outside to listen to the rain. It suited all of our needs and had plenty of space. The laundry machines came in handy after our hike at Cumberland state park. Because it rained most of the time during our stay, the stored firewood was damp and hard to light so in the case that it’s a bad forecast make sure to bring dry firewood and keep it covered if you want a fire. With patience and our own fire starter we got it taken care of :) It was just such a beautiful property and an openly spacious home - we really had the best time there together. It was seriously fabulous. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us gals! I would add photos if I could!! Ps : We saw a hummingbird!

Spacious, Secluded House
house was perfect for our family gathering. plenty of space and open areas and kitchen was well stocked. beds werent made which caused a little confusion as some of the sheet sizes didnt match the bed, but we figured it out. would definitely stay again.

Water water
We came to the area for an event close by. House itself was pretty clean however communication was unfortunate trying to get information for check in. Zero notes or anything on check out leaving us to guess what to do (most houses have a binder to notify what needs to be done). Found water on the floor on main level when first got there only to find AC units and shower or toilet upstairs is leaking water and by the wood stains it didn’t just happen. Contacted thinking the owners would want fixed but didn’t seem to care, turned units off and still heard water dripping all the way to the basement all night long, had pans and towels catching what we could. Very frustrating! Not to mention it is very hot out so now no AC and can’t open windows as they had to screens

Family Gathering
Beautiful and big log cabin in the woods. Perfect for our family gathering. There were 20 of us (10 adults and 10 kids eleven and under) Lots of room for everyone. We never felt cramped. We loved being in the woods too. Kids could make noise and not bother anyone. Places to hike and explore on the property. Many things to do in the area for short family day trips. And Walmart was easily accessible for groceries and supplies.

Glamping 2022
This rental was everything we could have hoped for and more. We have been taking annual glamping (doing camping things but staying in a nicer place) for the past 9 years and this was one of our favorite locations. It is so secluded and peaceful. The house is beautiful and all the wood is incredible. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen was pretty well stocked, and the fire pit is great too. It was perfect for us with 4 families because each set of adults had a room on the main or top floor and the kids had plenty of space to take over the basement. We love when they have their own area. There were games to play. it was only a short walk down to the creek. There was plenty of seating for all of us to hang out and the owner was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We are really hoping we can plan another fun, affordable trip here!!

The architecture of the home was awesome. Everything and I mean everything we needed was stocked there. The beds were high end cool Gel Temperpedic mattresses. A wonderful place and recommended for all.

8 Guy Golf Outing
It was an overall great experience. Lots of privacy and plenty of room. I love the layout of the house. The great room and kitchen are open and big enough to accommodate all of us to hang out. We really didn't utilize the fire pit or the surrounding property, but it's super nice to not have anyone around us. Hot tubs were a plus. We bought new darts for the game room. Beds are comfortable. It's a great place. A little bit of a ride (37 min) to the golf courses we played. However still worth the drive. Yep. I would stay here again and the owners are very responsive.
