Telluride Riverfront House with Mountain Views

Located on the east end of Telluride, with the San Miguel River running through its backyard, this beautiful 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath house is located on the river walk hiking trail and less than a mile from the center of historic Telluride, a town known for its local charm, renowned shops and delicious restaurants.

This home's location and size is perfect for those wanting to participate in the numerous festivals Telluride has to offer. A quick walk or bike ride brings you straight into the center of Town Park where you have access to one of Colorado's most beautiful venues.

If it is skiing you are looking for, an 8th of a mile walk to the Galloping Goose Shuttle will provide free transportation or town parking options to the Gondola and up to Mountain Village.

We often recommend a Ski Valet service to come to the home to assist our guests with their Ski Rentals and fittings so the first day on the slopes can be as smooth as possible. Please be sure to ask our manager for their contact information.

The home's prime location is just the start as the house itself boasts unique decor in keeping with its mountain setting, while featuring all of the desired modern amenities and stunning views you expect from a beautiful upscale mountain home.

We do not allow events or large gatherings of any kind. Thank you for understanding that our plumbing and utilities are not built for such level of service.

Wonderful family stay
We had a wonderful stay at this family home. It was spacious, while also being cozy and comfortable. The view of the falls was breathtaking. The communication was excellent with the caretakers. They were kind and helpful. The home was close to the town of Telluride, while also being private. Since it was the summer, it was convenient to be there. We took a gondola ride from town to explore mountain village. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic River Retreat!

Once In A Lifetime Stay!
The house, the host, the views, the location…you couldn’t ask for more! We were three families who traveled from all over to meet up for the week and were blown away by everything this home offered, and how beautiful and comfortable it was for both kids and adults. Perfect for entertaining, hopping to town, but also secluded enough to feel like we were in the Rockies. We were also impressed and how responsive the host was throughout the entire prep and stay. Couldn’t recommend more highly and can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Mountain Retreat
The home was perfect for a cool get away from the hot AZ desert. Quiet and private and yet still a short walk to town park and the heart of Telluride. Perfect!

Great house that is well appointed, comfortable and worked really well for two families with small children. Very attentive manager who dealt quickly with relatively small problems that arose during trip. Note as of July 2023, there is a considerable amount of construction in the neighborhood including a house directly across the driveway that produced substantial construction noise and dust, music, and car truck traffic during the work day. I wish I was made aware of this unpleasant condition prior to the rental. Based on the current status of construction, I would expect the work to last thru the summer 2023.

5 weeks in Telluride
We had 5 whirlwind weeks of a revolving door of family and friends stay with us in Telluride. The home was perfectly decorated and well set up to accommodate our guests - all with private bedrooms and baths. The kitchen was great for cooking and nicely equipped with every culinary need. The location was amazing for walking into town, to the many hikes throughout the canyon and simply to enjoy the fantastic views! We had a few issues with the home, but the house manager, Denise, and the house caretaker, Steve (and his pup Tonto!) were so unbelievably responsive, resourceful and compassionate. They are true gems to the owners! All in all, our time spent in Telluride provided memories to last a lifetime for us as well as our family & friends. It's truly a special place!!!

Great family vacation
Charming house and beautiful mountain views. Well appointed, comfortable space. Great for family and extended family. Easy skiing access, lovely river trail right outside the door. Minor housekeeping hiccup rectified by the manager. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

Great house!
We had a group of 11 and the house was perfect. The bathrooms in each bedroom were great. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly and large living / kitchen area we all could gather. The walk down to the bus stop each morning was an easy 10min down hill walk. After a long day of skiing the walk back up was a little more of a work out.

Wonderful stay at this great property!!!
We stayed at this house for a group ski trip and had a wonderful time. The house was well-kept and had great amenities. The hot tub overlooking the river was especially nice as was the fire pit near the river's banks. The decks and main living/kitchen rooms have wonderful views of the mountains. It was very nice and private as no immediate neighboring houses. As others have mentioned - it is only about a 5 minute walk to the Galloping Goose bus stop and probably only 12-15 minutes walking into town on a dedicated pathway off the road. We will definitely stay at this house again next time!
