This 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms pet-friendly cabin is situated on several acres of land overlooking Cimarron and Sneffels majestic mountain peaks. It is located 7 miles from Ridgway, 17 miles (less than 30 minutes) to downtown Ouray, and 50-minutes to Telluride. It is the perfect home base for all of your adventures!

Step into a rustic meets mountain comfort getaway space that offers a truly Colorado mountain cabin experience, complete with a private hot tub, gas grill and smoker to prepare your favorite summertime meal while taking in the awe-inspiring scenery. a

The area is replete with hiking trails and recreational diversity, including snowshoeing and cross country skiing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and many other recreational pursuits. Let this wonderful property with its best-in-class location be your home base for adventure or your tranquil and quiet respite in the midst of the stunning beauty of the surrounding forest.

Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom – Queen Bed
2nd Bedroom – Double Bed

The home is pet friendly (2 pet max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

PROPERT DISCLOSURES:
No outdoor fires are permitted at any of the Catamount properties per the HOA Bylaws due to the possibility of a forest fire. We ask that guests please be respectful of the neighbors; ATVs are not permitted to be ridden anywhere but on the road.

Please note: For winter stays (November 1 to May 1), a 4WD/AWD vehicle with snow tires are required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Everything you need
Everything you need and clean and location - beyond stellar. When we got to property we didn’t have correct check in information but I called the number provided and in the first ring they answered and we were in! Which is rare when those types of things happen so thank you!!I did like the space the only thing to add was it is an odd layout. And the lower bathroom toilet didn’t work the entire time we were there. But we were out everyday exploring so not a huge deal! Plus upstairs toilet was fine! I do think the staircase should be included in details - able and fit and still nervous about them since they fold up and down and the top handrails don’t connect so at the highest point there is a 2’ gap. Lastly the only shower in the place is an amazing view and also a jacuzzi bathtub but the curb height to get into even take a shower … even my sister at 5’7” could not comfortably step in the tub to shower. So myself at 5’2” we would joke I was about to go hurdling to get in. Again, for my adventure it was fine but a little different than anticipated overall.

Incredible Mountain Getaway
The property was perfect for a short getaway after our wedding! The views were incredible. Ridgway was a really cute town with nice people and good food! Would definitely recommend it

Perfect rustic cabin with AMAZING views!
Our stay was incredible. The location and views for this small, functional, and cute cabin was perfect! In fact, there are views from every room - It was easy to just stop and take 15 minutes at any time throughout the day to just watch the mountains change with the light and weather. The cabin was in great shape - no major complaints at all! Functional and cozy, just what we wanted! The bedroom was large enough and well provisioned, but this is still an older cabin so keep that in mind. But that is what we loved and wanted! Everything we wanted to make meals and hang out were there. We'll likely be coming back when it's time to get away to the San Juans and Colorado again!

Incredible view, but maintenance is needed
The setting and views from this cabin are spectacular! Great mattresses and bedding. But unfortunately there are a lot of little issues that took away from our experience, especially for the price. The cabin has an AWFUL smell, which the owners claim is from old wood. Our guess is mildew or a dead animal under the floor boards.Their dishwasher didn’t work, and they knew it considering there was an unused tablet in it already. There’s only 3 coffee cups and most of their wine glasses were filthy or cracked and not usable. We were very disappointed, and contacting them during our stay did nothing.

Beautiful mountain views from the back porch
Enjoyed our 3 night stay here in late May. No snow on the road and was easy to drive up to cabin from entrance. Beds were comfortable, kitchen very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils , cookware, etc. Hot tub was nice to relax in after hiking in the Black canyon area. Would stay here again if we return to the area.

Stunning views!
Beautiful location in a very quiet setting. BBQ was great to have. Kitchen had plenty of pots, utensils, etc. A little tricky finding it, (the Google lady was confused). Otherwise everything was wonderful!

We had a great day. The management company was super helpful and trying to get us in a little bit early so my daughter-in-law could work. It actually didn’t really happen, but they certainly tried. My only comments would be that the photos of the house were a little deceiving it was much smaller than I thought, but we had a great time very much. Enjoyed our day.

Beautiful Scenery
We had a great time staying there! The property is gorgeous and the linens are top notch. The hot tub was hot and wonderful in the snow. The view from the deck and the rooms is incredible! It was hard to locate the place and getting there is difficult in the snow. However, we had 4 wheel drive and made it without incident. Called the property management company and after some driving around they got us to the right place. Overall, I loved the place and it was an incredible break away from the city!

Weekend trip
Loved the location and property. Only problem we had was gps navigation took us to what appeared to be a neighboring house and the driveway for the cabin was unmarked. Some sort of signage at the driveway entrance would have been very helpful. Instead we ended up going down the wrong driveway and had to call the management company. The lady had to direct us by looking at an aerial map so it was not a pleasant experience arriving. That aside, we had a great time!

I really enjoyed this little cabin tucked away in the mountains. The cabin had everything needed. Hot tub view was incredible. Close drive to amenities and hikes. Highly recommend for a single, couple or small family.

The coziest home away from home!
This was one of the most wonderful places I've ever stayed. The view was stunning, the cabin was homey and amazing. The beds were so comfy, the hot tub for night star viewing was superb. I would stay here a hundred times if I could. I loved it here and cried when we had to leave.

Lovely little cabin with outstanding views!
We love this little cabin. IT's small but mighty! It teaches you that not much space is actually. needed on a daily basis. Enjoy the cabin, sleep. &. go outside. & live your life! That's what it's all about. The view here is amazing, and we took advantage every sunrise & sunset to sit outside & take in the scenery in the hot tub of course!

This home is very secluded with the most gorgeous view. The property is very well maintained and the landscaping attracts hummingbirds which I enjoyed watching every morning and evening. We really enjoyed this comfortable home.

Nice property, beautiful views. I have already reported a couple of issues to the property managers i.e. shower head needs to be replaced and no hot water pressure in kitchen sink. They assured me that they would have these items fixed.

Mountain View Cabin
We had a wonderful June stay at this cabin. The mountain views are phenomenal! We started and ended each day in the hot tub with the mountains. The flowers were blooming all around making it a beautiful getaway. This cabin is an older cabin and therefore is in need of a few repairs but that didn’t bother us at all. It’s the scenery and ambiance that makes this such a wonderful place to stay. We had everything we needed there, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, deck, kitchen, fridge, oven/stove, microwave, coffee pot. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. My only recommendation for the caretakers is to replace the screens on the windows with a finer mesh screen. We had gnats coming through the screens in the evenings and so had to keep the windows closed at night which made it hot. If the bugs bother you and you can’t sleep in heat, then you might not like your stay. There are plenty of fans in the cabin which helped cool things downs at night. We did talk to the caretakers and received some suggestions help. They were quick to respond. We still had a wonderful stay and will plan to stay again. It’s also a great location at Ridgway with mountain and Lake access and located conveniently between Telluride, Ouray, and Montrose (Black Canyon of Gunnison) for easy day trips to each location.

10 TIME BETTER THAN WE IMAGINED
Do no hesitate to book this oasis, the cabin, the property, the insane view of the mountains. No neighbors, no car noises, trails around, wildlife around (Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Rabbits, etc) The cabin is set up perfect for a family, hot tub was awesome, beds were comfy. WINTER WONDERLAND: My only negative comment about this listing and not posting pictures of how beautiful it was covered in snow! Our stay was made 10x better with the awesome amount of snow everywhere! Being from Texas; this was magical!! We spent as much time at and around the cabin as we did in the nearby mountain towns. Thank y’all!

Great location, poor communication
The location was perfect! A short drive to Ridgway and Ouray or to telluride but still far enough out to be on your own. The cabin was stocked well with everything you would need and for the most part was pretty clean. The hot tub worked great and was in a perfect spot! It was nice having a book collection, games, and a guitar there. It was lacking directions for WiFi, pellet stove if you weren’t familiar, dumpster location, and probably a few other things. The dryer broke on the second day of a 7 day stay and I talked with the property managers and they said they’d get someone out soon and would let me know “today” well I didn’t hear anything else back from them and other messages sent were ignored so we had to air dry our clothes with fans. There were two humidifiers in the cabin for people who weren’t used to the dry mountain air and both were Very moldy so do not use those. There was a visitor from down the street, a very nice dog who LOVES to play fetch with really really big sticks/logs. Another not as welcome visitor in the kitchen was a mouse that looks like he’s had his run of the cabin for a while. Overall a nice place to stay and would probably stay there again, but for what we paid for a week it was disappointing how they handled the broken dryer.

Breathtaking!
This cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The website did not do it justice, at all. It was secluded, peaceful and we really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, rabbit's and squirrels. The cabin was a beautiful A framed cabin, with all the amenities you could ask for. The view of the Sneffels Range was spectacular!!!! This was one of my dad's favorite mountain ranges, and now mine. Brought back wonderful memories of him. We will DEFINITELY book this again!! Thank you to the owner's who opened up this cabin for other's to enjoy. Blessings to you!!
