"The property is old, but has everything you need for a great stay. We cooked dinner one night and went out to Tomahawk Restaurant the other (awesome food!) Great location beside the river and right next to town. "

"Only have a couple of issues with this property. 1 being the lack of covered area outside, which I guess isn't a problem until it rains, especially when guest are staying out in the pool room. The other issue was in the pool room they seem to have a furry resident living in the ceiling and there are no towel racks to hang your towels. Home is roomy for a large group and has everything to make it cosy on a wintery night. We thourghly enjoyed our stay. "

"Easy to book and affordable. We booked 2 bedroom cabin - both bedrooms were nicely made, clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean. There was a small kitchenette with microwave, hot plate, kettle and necessary utensils. It has a small fridge and a television too. We also had our own tiny balcony where we enjoyed morning tea. There is a river nearby and a walking trail. We really enjoyed our morning walk and the surrounding area is peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Staff were really really helpful...

"Our stay was incredibly disappointing. Despite booking three nights, we only endured two due to the unpleasant conditions. The lack of cleanliness was evident, with no cleaning done since last guests, unmade beds, unchanged bedding, and a lack of hot water at night. Additionally, there were no general bins, and the toilet was blocked. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and request a full refund for the dreadful experience we endured. I have taken photos as evidence of the unacceptable...

"We had a weekend away with our friends and it was the perfect house and location. Between us we had 3 kids under 3 and a dog. the house was well setup, even had a little booster seat for my baby, and a very secure backyard. So many toys and books for the kids, it was like Christmas. While it may not be the fanciest house in Bright, it certainly was our home away from home. We might have to come and stay again next year."
