"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "We had a great time despite the weather being rainy and windy. Kathleen and Ken were so welcoming and made sure we were looked after and even showed us the animals in the rain. On arrival they had the heater on so the place was toasty which was so inviting. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, it has beautiful views and is very neat. The animals were lovely and getting to feed them was the absolute highlight!"

"Our group of friends (with little infants) stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend. The house was beautifully styled and thoughtfully fitted out. The kitchen was amazing to cook in, looking over the property and bushland, and we loved the comfort of the indoor fireplace, as well as the outdoor fire pit. Everything was very clean, well looked after, and family friendly. We instantly felt at home and would definitely come back for another stay!"

"My wife and I had a very relaxing longweek end at Hidaaway far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had all the creature comforts. When heading away for a weekend or longer, we always pack a bag of staples as usually here is sometimes not provided such as salt peper, olive oil and the like.
