"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. "

"for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones."

"Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Most everything you could need is in Ballater, a couple of miles away, including a grocery, petrol station, health center, and a number of restaurants and pubs. "It was a real treat to arrive here after a long journey. It is a beautiful, modern house in an idyllic setting. We had ample room to spread out and accommodate our large extended family. Everything was spotless. Vinnie showed my sister around and was responsive to all our questions and requests throughout the stay. We will cherish our memories of this house forever! "Absolutely loved stopping here, it is such a fantastic location and a beautiful property to match. Arlene made us very welcome on check-in and showed us around the property and how things worked, we also got fresh eggs from Arlene's hens , which was a lovely touch Whilst here we visited Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, other distilleries are available, in fact there are loads around here.
