"Beautiful established gardens leading in to front main entrance. Welcoming and friendly reception, thank you Maureen & Bronwyn. We were in unit 6 was clean and tidy with fresh linen sheets towels. Couple of things: When you open the front door straight ahead on wall you see black marks. Have stayed many times here but there were no outside table & chairs to sit on while enjoying outside view having a spa. "I had the best 2 nights here - the chalet was clean and well stocked, down to the extra pillows, blanket, hairdryer and complimentary breakfast. The hot tub was delightful and just what I needed to fully unwind from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. This experience was such a breeze and I was undisturbed throughout my whole stay - I would highly recommend this place and will most definitely be back in winter to try the hot tub!!"

"You instantly relax when you arrive here. The view, the harbour, the quiet and the serenity are perfect for a getaway. Helene was responsive with all our requests, including being able to bring our two small dogs on holiday with us. This holiday home has everything you need, seems larger than what the photos display and was spotlessly clean. "We stayed at this lovely stay as a last minute plan to visit the Matakana markets! The place was incredibly local (essentially cross the road and you’re at the market). Very tidy, modern and sorted with everything you’d need. Lovely stay!"

"Excellent location and very comfortable. The brewery was right across the street but we heard absolutely no noise from them whatsoever. The farmers market is a very short walk down the main road, and there's a supermarket nearby in case you need anything. You've also got multiple great dining options within easy walking distance. "Our own private mineral geothermal spa. This place was one of the highlights of our trip. Though the building is older and needs updating it was clean and comfortable inside the private spa on the patio was a bonus, it was clean and in good condition, during our stay we had several soaks in it. "
