If you are looking for amazing views with a modern luxury edge, Blue Aspen is the home for you. This family-friendly, ski-in/ski-out, three-bedroom/two-and-a-half bath home is the perfect getaway. The Headin' Home bike run is just a short walk where you can easily bike down to the Chili Express! With an open two-car garage, you can be sure to keep your vehicles safe and out of the elements. Store your bikes on the rack conveniently located in the garage and make use of the storage lockers in the mudroom entryway. The kids will love the built-in bunk beds that comfortably sleep four. Across the hall is another modern bedroom furnished with a queen-sized bed. There is a full bathroom equipped with modern touches and beautiful tile-work. The upstairs master bedroom calls for relaxation with a queen-size bed, amazing artwork, and a stunning view. The en-suite master bathroom will be sure to amaze you with a walk-in shower along with his and her sinks. Ease your mind while you lounge in the living room sipping a glass of wine from the conveniently located wine bar. Use the built-in wine fridge to keep your wine at the perfect temperature and be sure to take advantage of the "take a bottle, leave a bottle"! Be hypnotized by a modern linear gas fireplace while enjoying the view of Wheeler Peak. Located on the same level is a beautifully decorated half bath with a gorgeous stone accent wall. The open kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances you need to create your favorite gourmet meal. The open living and dining areas offer a beautiful view of the mountain tops. Enjoy the convenience of having an additional den where you can watch TV and warm up by the double-sided fireplace. Feel like you are on top of the world when you walk out onto the deck, complete with a BBQ grill, fireplace, hot tub and spectacular views! Relax in the hot tub and enjoy stargazing after a long day of adventuring. Be taken away to Blue Aspen 1, where the sky and relaxation truly meet. Please note, this home is multi-level and has stairs.

During the winter months, please keep in mind you are traveling to the mountains. All our properties are maintained by professional snow-plowmen; we make every effort to ensure the property is accessible upon arrival. However, please be prepared for extreme weather conditions. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended. Resort Properties of Angel Fire cannot be responsible for guests' inability to reach the booked property due to the lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Great home
The house was great! The view from the house was beautiful. Our family had a great time and enjoyed staying there. The ski in/ski out is some work. We’re all in pretty good shape and tried it one day and preferred driving the couple miles to the base of the mountain. Nonetheless, we’d stay here again. Thank you

The property is amazing. The view cannot be beat. Just be aware you are about 9,800' so prep for the altitude. We had an incredible vacation and the home is stunning.

Great Location with some downsides
The house is in an amazing location and the ski in/ski out is very easy and accessible. There were some downsides with the code not working to access the house when we got there, but the manager was always accessible to help us out. This dishwasher was also broken during our stay, which was also a downside. I will note that the drive up the hill in the winter time absolutely needs AWD or 4x4 as the driveway to the house is steep. If it’s covered in snow/ice, it will be very difficult to get to the house. We saw others struggle to get up the hill to get to another house and had to have the driveway plowed before they could drive up it. It would have been helpful to have it plowed beforehand so something for the manager to consider. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to my friends and family!

House is lovely. Kitchen was not as supplied as expected…4 wine glasses, no storage containers, etc. Blankets were soiled and there were no pillow cases for extra pillows. Upstairs heat was not working but area heaters were brought to home by staff and they worked well.

Great home right on the mountain
Very nice home with all the amenities. Perfect for a family, or two couples. Very convenient to the mountain. Jumped on the bike, rode 2 minutes to trail, then down to lift. This home is 20 min drive uphill from town if you need to go there. Outside of this, the home is a premier property.

Amazing Getaway!
We had such a great stay at Blue Aspen 1! The house was very clean and comfortable and the views were absolutely amazing! We love to cook at home and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies (pans, cutlery, appliances) and basic spices and there's a grill! We were in Angel Fire to mountain bike and the house was perfectly located for easy access to the trails. The mud room was ideal for gear storage. The Wifi and cell service were solid. We loved spending the evenings as a family on the deck watching the sunset and enjoying the fire! We can't wait to come back!

We came to relax and ski for four days. We got exactly that. The hike up to slope was as advertised(a little work) but loved being able to hike up to slope and ski, hike down to eat lunch. Much better than loading up car.

Beautiful Home
Excellent location - beautiful home - perfect floor plan. The reason I took one star off… I love to cook… especially when we go to the mountains which is at least a couple of times a year. We have rented several properties over the years with great experiences so I wasn’t prepared for this situation. This property had what they call a “starter kit” of cleaning supplies. We are given a sample size dishwashing soap, a half roll of paper towels, 4 dishwasher pods and 2 garbage bags for the week. After you use those you are to supply your own. We went to the grocery store in town to purchase more dishwasher pods. They were completely sold out. There was no dishwasher detergent of any form or kind. If you don’t run the dishwasher before leaving you receive a fine. So we decided to pack up early and go home. If the property management company would have spent a couple of dollars more and provided adequate dishwasher pods to last a week our thousands of dollars vacation would have been a fantastic holiday. So warning future guests— if you enjoy cooking bring all cleaning supplies with you because the store may be out and you will have to cut your vacation short. By the way.. I received an email from the property management to call them with any suggestions regarding our experience. I called them to tell them why we left early and complain about their “starter kit”. I received a snarky reply. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I felt future guest should have a head’s up for planning their trip. Plan on taking ALL CLEANING SUPPLIES you may possibly need.

Excellent location - close to the ski area - really nice upscale property. Well maintained - modern and cool. Recommend you reach out to the host/manager ahead of time to see what they provide and what they penalize you for.

Gorgeous Setting
The house is gorgeous and matched the description well. The fireplace on the porch is perfect for cool nights! The air on the mountain is crisp and clean and it was so nice to open the many windows in the house. The house smelled a bit musty downstairs but quickly changed with opening windows. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the area!

Springtime Weekend Ski
Property clean and cool. There needs to be a more visible driveway number. Definitely being your 4WD. You won’t need it until you need it. 50 yards to the slopes, but the trek is all uphill. Picturesque mountain views with deer strolling along outside. I and my family would love to visit again.

Beautiful home for MLK weekend!
We loved the house. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We had such a good weekend together as a family. We had trouble finding the house at first because there was no sign marker. But we called for directions and were immediately helped. And it was worth it when we got there!

Amazing property. A good 15 minute drive to Angel Fire resort and town.
The property was gorgeous. Gorgeous view and house itself was amazing. Definitely recommend a four wheel drive vehicle in winter months. An experienced skier could ski out of this property, but property managers advised us not to as the depth of the snow was unknown and could be up to chest. Would definitely stay here again. Everything first class.

President’s Day Weekend
My family and I came here for the long President’s Day weekend. The property is beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The views are breathtaking. The reason I rated the accuracy of the listing as a 3 is because this is not a ski-in/ski-out. We have stayed in numerous ski-in/ski-out homes, but not one where you have to walk up a steep hill and then through knee if not waist high snow to get to the slope. Blue Aspen 2 sits behind this house and that one could be considered a ski-in/ski-out, however there is not a well kept path to the slope. I did read the reviews before I booked and did check with the property manager, who advised me it was a short “15 yard walk” which would have been perfectly fine. I did contact the property manager because we were confused as to where the path was when we arrived and received a very vague response because there isn’t an easy way from Blue Aspen 1. Just disappointed and a tad misled as we did travel with our three children. Other than that the property is fantastic!

Amazing weekend get away....
We came her for a quick birthday weekend get away with our 2 boys. (8 & 7). We wanted to get in before the resort opened, so the kids could enjoy the snow for the first time. The hills around the house were perfect for sledding and tubing. I can see where people have a slight complaint about it being a ski in/ ski out set up. It is about a 50 yd walk through the woods, in knee high snow, to get to the slopes. But, other than this, the house is amazing. The bedroom set up is nice to be able to have the kids down stairs and parents up stairs. Plenty of room in the mud room for getting out of your snow covered gear. The view, the view is simply breath taking. The mountains in the distance, over looking the beautiful snow covered town below.... Could not have asked for a better location for relaxing. Thank you, again.
