"This was a great place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. The pool table and spa were awesome. The place was really clean too which was great. I think i might have forgotten to press start on the dishwasher though, sorry if that was the case, Adrienne. We really enjoyed the property."

"The Shack is a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. The attention to detail means is excellent and meant we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend visit. Alison was a great host too, we hope to visit again sometime!"

"Lovely, quiet, peaceful place to unwind from life’s stresses. The tiny house was very cosy for just myself and my Cavoodle. On my travels to the tiny house, Laureen was in contact and made sure I had plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The fire was beautiful! Will definitely return!"

"We were lucky staying this property in autumn. View from windows were just perfect. Property is very clean and has character. Owner is very friendly and response was quick. I recommend this property for 2 couples, family of 4 with pets. The best thing is not too far from city. However experience is totally countryside’s relaxing getaway."

"Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again."

"From the moment I booked this gorgeous property to the time we left, was an absolute delight. The home was beautiful and clean with nothing forgotten to make the stay easy and homey. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay."

"Beautiful property superbly equipped for weekend catch up with long time friends. The house is in a great location and Woodend has lots to offer. Clear communication and expectation from host. Would definitely return! We were impressed with the welcome pack thank you."

"Everything you could want for a country stay. The property is stunning, Highland cows included! Beautiful gardens, stunning view and very cosy, comfortable, modern bohemian accommodation. An easy drive from the city, a great location as it is an easy drive to surrounding towns, wineries and hikes. Highly recommended."

"A stunning location and we had a great time for the first couple of days but rain for the last two and little or no gravel on the visitor driveway meant that we struggled to get out of a muddy driveway in our 2 wheel drive car. There is no one on the property and no mobile coverage so it is all the more important to have this rectified. We had to park in the other driveway which made our trips to and from the car long, messy and muddy. This is not good enough given how much this place charges....

"We needed an overnight stop on a long transit trip and this location not only was a great overnight stay but a great experience. A fully equipped kitchen and BBQ and we had a lovely evening BBQ while our mini retriever played in the fully enclosed yard. A great stay!"
