"The host was very helpful. We were coming to town for a wedding and I was tasked with providing lunch for the wedding party Our host was so accommodating by letting me use coolers and making sure the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils I needed. The communication was super helpful. We would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the property- really beautiful."

"Took my elderly mom on a trip to Caldwell, she grew up there and wanted to see it one last time. We had a bad experience a few years ago with a local motel so thought i would look on VRBO. This place is perfect!! Very clean, very nice, relaxing. If ever that way again, will definitely stay again, and highly recommended!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy is an excellent hostess and had the apartment stocked with goodies. She gave us a tour on our arrival so we knew where everything was and knew how to work the TV, etc. Location is central to town and the town is very charming. "

"Our stay at the Zen Country Retreat was perfect! The house was super clean, had every amenity you'd need for your stay (including great support for kids), and was super comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, I was truly shocked by how quiet and peaceful it was out there. No traffic noise, no rowdy neighbors, it was all very peaceful. We also LOVED the s'mores ingredients; my kids had a blast making them, and it was a very nice, homey touch!"

"The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable. The grounds is is well maintained and a perfect setting. The fire pit is a nice touch. I love everything about it. Just bring shampoo and soup for showering."

"Just the right size for my husband and I. Came in for the art show in bryan. Price was very reasonable and we asked for an extended checkout time, which they happily accommodated. Bed was comfortable and AC worked nicely as i do like it cold at night. Area is very quiet and peaceful and close to A&M but away from the congestion. Would definitely recommend."
