"What a great place to stay with thoughtful and unexpected extras, crackers and fish were much appreciated and the Kit Kat bars certainly added to our "have a break" time. Attention to detail, and instructions on how to use appliances made this a very comfortable and easy place to stay. "Our team of 15 teachers stayed for one night while up North on a professional development weekend. The house was a convenient location and a good size. Our only disappointment was that some rooms were locked meaning that our teachers had to share beds. We had anticipated that the entire house would be available to us and therefore extra beds and bedrooms in the cottage. Other than that we had a lovely stay. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "
