Arma di Taggia is considered the gateway to the beautiful Argentina and Armea Valleys. In 20 minutes you can reach charming villages such as Badalucco, Molini di Triora, and Triora and immerse yourself in an unspoiled nature and landscapes rich in history. Arma di Taggia is also surrounded by the most beautiful sandy beaches of Western Liguria, making it the ideal destination to enjoy all the riches that Liguria has to offer. A few minutes drive from Arma di Taggia, you can reach Sanremo: city of flowers, casino, and “Festival della canzone italiana” (Italian song festival). In the province of Imperia, Sanremo is the largest city on the Riviera dei Fiori. In this regard, Villa Nobel and Villa Ormond offer gardens of a certain value, created both with typical plants, and exotic and rare species. Also famous for its buildings of historical and architectural value, not to be missed is the Cathedral of San Siro, the oldest religious building in Sanremo, the Russian Church, one of the most famous symbols of the city, and the Madonna della Costa Sanctuary, in Baroque style. During the stay, visit the Sanremo Casino to admire the structure and gambling halls dating back to the Second World War.
The emblem of the city is the Ariston Theater, the famous stage where the Italian song festival takes place every year, or simply, a cinema that hosts shows and ballets during the rest of the year.
Make sure to leave the city after walking along the Imperatrice promenade, paved with marble, adorned with palm trees, and the Spring Statue by the sculptor Vincenzo Pasquali.
Arma di Taggia is 75 km from Nice Airport and 134 km from Genoa Airport.
