Amazing views
We stayed for my wife's birthday and it was amazing. We got to see the whales from the porch as well as some harbor seals that hang out just feet from the porch most of the day. We got to see 1 sea atter and a lot of birds. The sunrise and sunset was amazing. The moon came up just over the mountain. We will be getting this place again.

Great vacation property!
We had a wonderful stay here! From the moment our family arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, amenities, and attention to detail in the space. The house has almost everything you need and we felt at home during our stay. The check-in process was seamless. I appreciated the clear communication and instructions provided by the host. The host is friendly, helpful, and provided good suggestions on local activities. The location is convenient so you can easily travel around the area. The view is great; there is so much to see! We enjoyed having coffee on the upper deck in the morning and seeing the lights from the hot tub at night. We really enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife and walking along the shore! We highly recommend this home and would stay here again!

Beautiful location and very relaxing
My wife and I had an amazing time. It was so nice to relax and the views were incredible. We saw seals, eagles and porpoises! The house had everything we needed. They though of everything. We will be back for sure.

Solo Easter vacation
I truly enjoyed your home. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home. Every night as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep and woke up to the birds chirping and seals greeting me. I danced in the kitchen making my dinners and baking my cinnamon sweet bread. The weather was beautiful couldn’t believe I got a sunburn in 56 degree weather but I didn’t want to stay in I combed the beaches and saw crabs, little eels, hermits under the rocks . I saw seal’s playing and greeting me so chilled. I saw 2 orcas playing in the distance enjoyed the hot tub. Overall it’s the best vacation I’ve had in years. Thank you again. God bless

Love this place!
I would have been delighted to stay all week. This place had everything we needed, including extras for our dog. It was the _cleanest_ place we’ve ever stayed, and I can say this with certainty because my dog tells me about every dried-up old food scrap she finds trapped under a stove. In this place, she was had nothing to report! The hot tub and the views were magnificent. The beds and couch were comfortable. I will 100% plan to come back the next time we are in Tacoma.

Beautiful and relaxing
We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday and boy was it a treat. The kitchen was instrumental in creating a beautiful dinner, we hot rubbed until we were prunes, watched seals from bed and explored the beach at low tide. 10/10 and worth every penny!

Beautiful house on the Sound
House is directly on Puget Sound and offers fabulous views of the peninsula and Mt . Ranier. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you may need for your stay.

One to Remember
This rental is stunning! We slept backwards in the bed as to look over the harbor to witness the huge cargo ships passing during the night. There is a set-up literally at the water where we had coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset. There was a sea lion whom we named Tod. We was always in site. We also were witnesses to small oracles. Nice living area inside. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge windows facing the harbor through out. We highly recommend!

Stunning view!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Erin is an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host. The complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival was a great touch. Pictures of the view of Mt. Rainier from the property doesn’t do it justice - we were shocked how well you can see this massive mountain. That in addition to the water and city view was incredible and made it difficult to want to leave it. Highly recommend.

This has been a home away from home! We wish we could have stayed much longer but timing got in the way. We would definitely make a return trip here when we are back in Tacoma. We can’t say enough about this house, its setting and the peacefulness of its surroundings. From booking to check out, the communication and handling of this property was second to none. Smooth all the way. You’ll love the views, the entire house was filled with everything you would need to enjoy a great experience. We highly recommend Wanderlust!

Puget Sound Gem
This beautiful home is like a luxury yacht suspended above Puget Sound. From the dining room and the master bedroom it feels as though you could just drop right into the sound. Everything is modern, pristine and beautiful - appliances, furniture, bathroom surroundings, linens, etc. are all highly functional and tastefully arranged. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. We stayed here for three days with my elderly mother and two young adult sons, and entertained some local relatives for a grilled dinner on the bulkhead one evening, topped off by s’mores in the fire pit. Everyone loved it. Stand-up paddle boards and kayaks were a fantastic amenity for exploring the sound and nearby beaches. Local birds and seals entertained us as we dined. A wonderful spot for a respite from the world!

Awesome place great people
The homeowner(s) were great people and stayed in close communication the whole time to ensure that our stay was pleasant and even give a few tips about where to possibly go fishing or crabbing. The home was everything we wanted and more. We’re already planning to come back for another stay and would absolutely recommend this home and the owners to anyone!

A Must Stay!
This was an absolutely perfect place to spend our family vacation. We have young adult children so being on the water with access to paddle boards and kayaks was amazing. Being just a short trip from Seattle or Mount Rainier made this location perfect. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating.

The property is definitely what is represented in the listing. Views of Mount Rainier were absolutely stunning. Loved to watch the big ships come in and the harbor seals. Great communication with owners and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable two-week family stay
Stayed for two weeks as a family of 6 (grandparents and kids stayed the entire time, parents stayed for part of it) and very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent. We found a couple of things about the house to be a bit challenging for a family of 6 with children: * The ensuite toilet isn't separated from the master bedroom by a wall. There's a half-wall, but it isn't very private so if someone is in the main bedroom, the rest of the guests have only one bathroom to use. * The 5th and 6th person sleep on an aerobed in the living room, not the most comfortable sleeping arrangement. The view is onto Tacoma and the industrial port, with trains and all kinds of ships passing (many a barge full of metal scrap), seals swimming around and even a coupe of orca sightings, lots of interesting things happening for the kids to look at. Great view of the July 4th fireworks!!! We enjoyed the hot tub and taking the kayaks out for a spin. It's possible to go for a short swim, but of course the water is cold. Not sure if you can tell from the photos that the neighboring houses are very close to the property. On the plus side, in the summer this gives a really good sun/shade balance. The neighborhood is lovely and walkable to the convenience store, the playground and playfield, and the lighthouse and beach. One last note, the coffee setup is great, but a teapot and kettle would also have been nice. Overall, a nice place with some quirks, and we enjoyed our stay.

Even Better than Advertised
Amazing property directly on the water with all the ingredients for a memorable stay. Fantastic water views, fresh clean hot tub, ample grilling area and plenty of outdoor seating with fire pits. Beds very comfortable, plenty of towels and the kitchen was like a new remodel. The parking is tricky if you have more than one car but all neighbors had same situation. Best of all was the communication of the friendly owners. Immediate text responses, great updates on the marine life in the sound etc. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Will definitely return. A fantastic value! Thanks for the great memories. John and Anne
