Wake up to panoramic views of the Puget Sound, stroll the short walk to Old Town and the waterfront, then toast the day's end while drinking in the sunset. Perched on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound, this high-end property is mere minutes away from all of the entertainment and dining offered in the Proctor neighborhood and downtown Tacoma. We can't wait to host you!

This listing is for the BOTTOM unit of a duplex. Each unit sleeps six and both can be rented for a total of 12 guests.

This tastefully renovated Tacoma property features high-end amenities and a modern vibe. Enjoy a bottle of wine (from the tasting room only blocks away) in front of the gas fireplace. Socialize with guests and enjoy the view while cooking in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counters. Enjoy the full en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, full capacity washer and dryer, and comfortable sleeping space for six guest with a king bed in the front master, queen in the back master, and a surprisingly comfortable full-size fold-away in the spare closet!

Our home is one of the more updated, modern, and clean you will come across, with great care taken in nearly every detail. You will not be disappointed after staying with us!

NEIGHBORHOOD
This is by the far the best neighborhood in Tacoma, right in the heart of Old Town and two blocks from the waterfront with expansive views of the Puget Sound. Just minutes from the Tacoma Dome, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and Point Ruston (with a movie theatre and amazing shopping and dining). Guests can hit the Proctor farmer's market, the fresh fish market on Ruston Way, or explore nightlife in downtown Tacoma. Three are Uber drivers aplenty, the bus stop is within a block, and you can even ride bikes.

Ample on-street parking available, and for persons who cannot do the staircase from the front street, back street parking is also available.

Please note that the front of the property is on a main road, and while it's typically not an issue, sensitive sleepers may notice some traffic noise.
Accessing this property requires navigating steps with no railing. The front of the property has a somewhat steep and narrow staircase up from 30th street. The path from the alley at the back of the property has fewer steps with railings on most stairs.

We were visiting for a wedding and this condo had everything we needed. Only hiccup we had was the hot water stopped working but the property manager promptly got it fixed within a day. It's a beautiful location and has easy access to anything in Tacoma. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and spacious with a view!
We have nothing but good things to say about this place. The location was excellent ... very close to the water and to Puget Sound University if you are visiting the college. Our teen walked to the coffee shop down the hill each morning. The neighborhood is very safe. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are nice and large. We also really appreciated the coffee and creamer. Another bonus ... we had forgotten a few items (like toothpaste) and they had a bunch of toiletries that we could use ... thank you so much!

The property was as advertised. The kitchen was reasonably complete. The neighborhood was quiet, with two coffee shops down the hill from the house. (Note: the house had a Mr Coffee, French press, and Kuric (or however it is spelled).) It was interesting to see the ship come down the Puget Sound from Seattle and into the Tacoma harbor.

Beautiful view from the unit. Exceptionally clean with nearby access to local restaurants. Good communication with owner. My husband lost one of his hearing aids and it was found and mailed to us. Hope to stay at unit for future visit.

Gorgeous decor, comfortable bedding and a designer kitchen; a winning combination for this large upscale multiplex in scenic North Tacoma. Had one minor maintenance issue that was quickly addressed. I highly recommend.

This property was everything we hoped it would be
We were so pleased to have chosen this property for our long weekend getaway. It was everything we hoped it would be and it was exactly as advertised. The view was spectacular, the neighborhood was fantastic, the parking was easy, the property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The property managers were friendly and available if/when we had questions. We have already discussed booking this property again the next time we're in Tacoma; you really can't go wrong with this one.

All you need + the view
Lovely and roomy home that feels cozy yet luxurious with a king size bed and large tub. Stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The view is fantastic even on cloudy days. I wanted to move in.

My sister & I stayed over a long weekend & would definitely stay again. This is a great location with a superb view of Puget Sound. There's easy access to restaurants downtown and along the waterfront, and Old Town is a really beautiful area. The apartment is very well set up and beautifully clean. The owner is also very helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay and the home was everything we expected and more- we will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, and roomy place. We are from the area, and were in town with family for a family wedding- the accommodations really can’t be beat and were perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the comfortable king sized bed with the en-suite bath in the primary and our kids and grandchildren had their own space in the secondary bedroom with a private bath. And- the powder bath was perfect if you didn’t want to disturb those who go to bed a bit early, while you enjoy a late night movie in the living room where you have plenty of comfortable space !!!

Old Town Tacoma
This property was simply perfect for our gathering with friends in Tacoma. The bay window view was just beautiful, having multiple bathrooms provided privacy and comfort for multiple guests and street parking was ample..never had a problem parking right in front of the home. The house is on a rather busy street, and you could hear the traffic a bit, but we never found it to be distracting. The kitchen was well appointed. We loved being able to walk to coffee shops and a great little bar/restaurant just blocks away We were so happy with this property and would absolutely stay again. It’s one of the best properties we’ve rented through vrbo/Airbnb.

Location! Location! Location!
This property is in a great location. The view of the sound is amazing. We enjoyed morning walks in the neighborhood and visiting the coffee shops. Ruston Way is a great walk. The harbor seals are so fun to watch. We enjoyed day trips to Mt Rainier, Northern Cascades, Seattle, and the northern peninsula. Also enjoyed a day trip to Vashon Island . The shops in Procter District are convenient. The Safeway offers many meal options. The house is well stocked and made our trip very enjoyable. I can't wait for my next trip to the PNW!

Very nice!!
We spent a month in the condo, which is clean, nicely appointed, comfortable. It is open & bright, and has a great view of Commencement Bay. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from the front window! There are serious stairs to the condo from either the front or the back, definitely not for anyone who has trouble navigating stairs. The road in front of the condo is constantly busy, so much so that we found it difficult to enjoy the outdoor space because of the steady road noise. It is quiet inside, thanks to the air conditioning. The lawn definitely needs work, nothing but weeds in front. The kitchen is well stocked & it’s pleasant to be able to cook & talk to family or guests. The hosts were very responsive to a couple of things that we needed to have done. Great location - close to the Proctor District, great grocery stores, Ruston Waterfront, Point Defiance, and downtown Tacoma.
