THE CHURCH @ WOODFORD

The extraordinary Church @ Woodford is a modern, luxurious home, renovated in 2013 from a century-old heritage-listed church with beautiful stained glass windows, high vaulted ceilings with decorative cornices, gothic wrought iron, and luxurious wood paneling, all set within extensive beautiful gardens near bushland.

A unique property that offers an exceptional experience, in a well-appointed deluxe and comfortable atmosphere with premium technological amenities, hotel-grade linen service, and other delightful touches.

Close to the railway station, shops and transport, the Church is conveniently located on the Great Western Highway and can experience some traffic noise in peak times, however, all bedrooms are located at the rear of the Church, not on the Highway side.

FEES

The base tariff includes 5 people and extra guests are charged an extra fee per person, per night.
Pet Fees are applicable and are applied separately and in addition to the online booking total.
Pets are $40 per pet, per night.


PETS

Pets are payable at $40 per pet/per night and are paid in addition to the reservation cost after you have booked.
Please advise if you are bringing pets and a payment request will be sent after you have booked.
Please ensure that you have paid for your pets if you would like to bring them.
Pets are strictly prohibited on furniture, beds, linen, and blankets.
Please bring your pet's own bedding to rest on, food and drink bowls, and pet poo bags.
Ensure all pet business is cleaned up and disposed of upon departure.
Please ensure your pets are well-behaved and cause no damage to the house, furniture or garden, and do not disturb the neighbours.
Fines are applicable if these terms and conditions are breached.


9PM OUTDOOR NOISE RESTRICTION CURFEW

Due to the close proximity of neighbours near to the property, there is a strict noise restriction curfew from 9pm - 8am in all outside areas.
Please ensure you are super quiet when outside during this time.


IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY

Please note that this property is not available to hold lunches and dinners, or any other gatherings for people who are not booked to stay at the property.
The property is only for use by paid in-house guests that match the number of guests that are on the reservation.


NO PARTY OR NOISE DISRUPTION POLICY

Please note that this property has a very strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy.
Under no circumstances is this a party house or venue.
The neighbours are in very close proximity as it is a very quiet and peaceful residential area.
Please note there will be an immediate eviction without a refund if there is a breach of our terms conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY

Bookings are only confirmed once a minimum deposit of 50% is paid 30 days or greater to the arrival booking date.
The balance payment plus the refundable security bond are due 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Full payment plus the refundable security bond are required when booked less than 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Please note that all payments processed by Accommodated are subject to a 2.9% payment gateway transaction fee.
Payments will appear as *SEC ACCOMMODATED BYRON BAY/LENNOX HEAD NSW* on your bank statement.
By making payment/s for your booking it is deemed you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.
Bond refunds are processed 7 business days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations 60 days or greater to the arrival date, incur a $5.00 non-refundable channel manager fee.
Cancellations 30 - 59 days to the arrival date will forfeit 50% of the full tariff.
Cancellations within 30 days to the arrival date will forfeit 100% of the full tariff.
If the person who booked is prohibited by law to travel due to a COVID-19 lockdown, bookings can be transferred up to a year in advance, with one free date change.
Accommodated is not responsible for cancellations of any events, functions, booked activities, or any other changed circumstances guests may experience and as such any cancellations due to the above mentioned issues, will be governed by our cancellation policy.

Great well maintained property
Really really clean. Kids loved it. Pet friendly (for small pets) which was a massive help. Very comfortable and great location for Blue mountains / walks / exploring etc.

Beautiful home
I took my kids and their partners for five days to catch up and get ready for the new year. Apart from the rain we had a great time as the house provides plenty of things to do. Beds are super comfortable but the upstairs rooms get very hot as there is no aircon in the house, but fans are provided in each room. The washing machine is a washer dryer combined and the dryer part never worked for us no matter how we tried, maybe if there was directions left for it might have we might have been able to work it out. The fridge also has a slight issue with a sensor which maybe for future renters a note be left with directions also ( we had someone come out to look at it and that's how we worked it out) Everything supplied was plentiful like toilet paper, laundry and kitchen liquid,shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a broom in the kitchen but we're unable to find a vacuum. The games room/ garage was fantastic with the pool table, table tennis and a mini fridge. Overall was a great place to relax and enjoy my family.

Take me to church
This is by far one of the best, if not the best accommodation we have found on Stayz. From the first impression driving up the driveway, to entering the property and entering up the beautiful stairs into the main hall. So comfortable the accommodation had everything you could need to be self sufficient, and the heaters on a cold mountain night make for a comfortable evening. Loved our stay here.

Family trip
Check in was a bit late (4pm) and there was a bit of road noise. Otherwise it was fabulous. Everyone really enjoyed their stay. Surprisingly very cosy and very well set up to host a family

Uniquely Stunning
Stayed for 2 nights with wife and 2 toddlers and 2 friends, plenty of space throughout the property and inclusion of the rumpus room meant a good hangout while the kids were asleep with plenty of activities.

A wonderful historic Easter getaway
A terrific place to stay with family and friends especially having the large open living space and kitchen. 2 bathrooms a little tight with 11 guests and traffic noise can be noted in the loft bedrooms. Would recommend this place for its living space, beautiful history and large grounds. We had a fabulous weekend away!!

Great and highly unique space. Spent X-mas there with my fam - was time well spent!
Great property! Our visit was during the bushfire season we've faced here at the end of 2019 and we're grateful we could support this area that no doubt would have been affected by a drop in tourism. Our family always holiday's for Christmas somewhere and we're glad we stayed at this incredible house for Christmas this year. Great property, very unique, great history, incredible renovation, very homely and yet modern, LOVE the main bathroom, kitchen has all that's needed for a feast and the large family table is brilliant. Properties nearby make this property shine and it'd be great to have a closer spot to trails so you have to be off-site from the property to thoroughly enjoy the area but that's quite alright. Requires intent and the intent is rewarded. Though we don't stay anywhere twice, I'd happily recommend this spot to any group larger than 6. Smaller and I think it could be overkill but still highly enjoyable.

"Devine"!! accommodation in "The Church"
Unique accommodation, would have been better if it was not on the Highway as trucks very noisy at night, especially for weary travellers. On the whole a pleasant stay but another shower/toilet would be handy for the number of guests the church can accommodate as we found it a handicap having to roster our showers for 11 guests.

This church is an amazing place to stay.
This church is an amazing place to stay. It's so big yet so warm even on a cold night. We were a group of 7 celebrating a 21st birthday. We went there with my son's friends and they gravitated towards second building to play pool, board games and play video games. We all came together for meals and watch a video on super large TV. Both areas had big TVs and lots of heating. Beds were amazing. And loads of linen for those that wanted to sleep on sofa beds in lounge room. Love this place. So clean and warm. And so much to do in area. Would recommend Thai in Lawson as restaurant we went to on Saturday night. Many thanks Heidi and Luke Narelle and Paul
