"Absolutely amazing choice. Oceanside view with the rolling waves and the fresh smell of the saltwater wafting in was absolutely perfect. The wind blowing by the house along with the cormorants, ducks, and all the other wildlife topped the vacation "

"Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. The kids and the dog loved roaming the beach right outside and swimming in such perfectly clear and calm water was wonderful. Well equipped apartment and helpful friendly hosts. "There's no amenities you have to pay to use anything! Good luck! If you want to use the hot tub it's $50! Insane! So many rules it's uncomfortable."

"Annual reunion for friends. Property was great to entertain and stage us for other local events. Had an acoustic singer guitarist in and the acoustics were great! Pool is clean but is shared with two other Vrbo rentals on the property. Fire pit nice touch by the lake.privacy between the three suites is a challenge."

"This house was centrally located to everything we wanted to do while in this area of Cape Breton. It was quiet and comfortable and we appreciated being able to do laundry. I would recommend it to other travelers."

"The 2 bedroom, 3 bed house was great. It was clean, well stocked and located right off the beach. It is quiet with a great view. Highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the drive to get places. Cape Breton in the fall is absolutely beautiful! A must see!"

"We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. We appreciated Laura's communication throughout our stay, and the very detailed...

"When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. "

"Bridget's cottage is delightful and spotlessly clean and very private. Beautifully and charmingly decorated, the cottage had plenty of space and is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. A lovely screened-in porch is the ideal place to relax."

"We visited Fort Louisburg and take a relaxing break in our 2-week trip in Canada. This turned out to be a great location for both goals. It was a quick (fairly easy) drive to Louisburg. The property was lovely and a great place to relax and get organized for the rest of our trip."

"The property is spacious, clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and reconnecting with family who have recently moved to Cape Breton. A good time had by all. Beautiful place situated on a very nice part of the Mira River."
