"Cozy, cute, clean and quiet. This spacious cabin is ideally located near the magnificent Ricketts Glen State Park, and yet not too far out to allow for convenient access to the Wilkes Barre Scranton metro. If you are looking for an escape - a little hideaway this is a good shout! We'll furnished, and a complete enough kitchen to get the job done for the home chef with ingenuity. We will be back again, for sure!"

"We stayed here a week in late August to celebrate some family time before the kids went back to school. Everything was just perfect. Even when the weather wasn’t cooperating we found plenty to do around the house and in Sweet Valley. When the weather cooperated, we were able to hike and swim and fish in many of the surrounding lakes and parks. Highly recommend. "

"The property was very quaint and cozy for our group of friends gathering. Plenty of room and separate areas for sleeping worked out well. Note the coffee maker did seem to leak a bit on the first day, but not the next day. Overall, we had a great first time VRBO experience!"

"What a wonderful, lovely cabin. It was very relaxing. It was refreshing to be around all that nature. We walked with our dogs on the trails several times a day. They enjoyed playing in the water, as did I. The owner was wonderful, answered my questions and sent me all the information needed the day before our trip. My husband and I will be back, but for a longer time so we can hike Ricketts Glen and Worlds End."

"This is our third stay at Thorne Haven and while I didn't think it possible, it was even better than before. I have shared this listing with a number of my work colleagues and they all exclaimed over the gorgeous dining room, the huge kitchen, the insane number of books, games, and movies, and that incredible master suite.
