Beautiful townhouse 100m from the beach

Located in the highly prestigious and much sought-after Grade II listed Langland Bay Manor. Once the original coach house and bell tower, this unique 4 bedroom home is located at the rear of the main Manor building. It benefits from an array of traditional features and is beautifully presented over three floors. Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels. Sky. Sonos. ipad smart controls. Nespresso machine and pods.
Walk to superb restaurants, cafes and shops. On the award winning Langland beach.


The space

Kitchen/Breakfast Room

You enter into this charming property via the kitchen/breakfast room. You will immediately be struck by the wonderfully high characterful ceilings throughout and the natural light that floods into this space via the two gothic style windows to the front of the home. The kitchen/breakfast room houses an array of wall and base units topped with granite worktops with integrated double sunken sink with waste disposal unit, Hotpoint microwave/oven, Neff oven and grill, Neff 4-ring electric hob, elevated extractor fan, washer/dryer, and Miele dishwasher. Here you also have the pleasure of a breakfast bar and stools, and an American style fridge/freezer with water dispenser and ice machine.

Lounge

Via a feature sliding door, you enter into the spacious lounge with an abundance of natural light beaming in through the multiple gothic style windows and a second entrance to the front. This charming space also enjoys high ceilings with feature coving, bookshelves with books and games for your enjoyment and a stairway to the first floor.

Dining Area

A large family style extending oak table with benches. Will happily seat 6-8. Add our dining chairs and extend the table to accommodate 10.

First Floor

Ascend the stairway and you will be introduced to a fabulous picturesque window to the front of the home, the space is bright and airy. From here you have access to bedrooms 3 and 4, family bathroom, and a stairway to the second floor.

Bedroom Three

Ascend one step into a generous size bedroom with two distinctive feature gothic style windows allowing this space to be wonderfully bright. Bedroom three enjoys a kind size bed, dressing table and double wardrobe.

Family Bathroom

Servicing bedrooms 2 – 4, this wonderfully modern family bathroom houses a WC, wash basin, fitted bath with shower unit, heated towel rail, fitted shaver light and socket, array of storage cupboards, is fully tiled, and spotlighting.

Bedroom Four

Another lovely in size bedroom with two feature gothic style windows to the side of the home. Here you also have a king size bed, double wardrobe and dressing table.

Second Floor

Let us now ascend to the second floor of this superb home and see what it has to offer. Straight away you will notice the fantastic original feature stone wall with spectacular rose window into bedroom two. Light floods down the stairway via the Velux and picturesque window. From here you have access to the master bedroom with en-suite and bedroom two.

Master Bedroom with En-Suite

Firstly, let us explore the master bedroom. Here you have a lovely in size room with two Velux windows and a lovely feature gothic style window allowing lots of light to flood in. This space has spectacular vaulted ceilings with feature beams, the pleasure of a fully tiled en-suite. King size bed, double wardrobe and dressing table.

En-suite

Housing a WC, wash basin with storage underneath, walk-in shower, heated towel rail, shaving light and socket, and spotlighting.

Bedroom Two

What a magnificent and exceptional space! From the moment you step into this room you will notice the four incredible rose feature windows positioned centrally on all four walls and the superb vaulted ceiling with the original restored pitch pine beams. The bells would have rung from here when 14 Langland Bay Manor was the original bell tower. This generous room features king size bed, double wardrobe and dressing table.

Local Area

Langland is home to the infamous Langland Bay and has easy access to the boutiques, amenities and eateries of Mumbles village.

Perfectly situated on Langland Bay beach front, you are moments away from the family friendly Langland Bay promenade and beach. Also within easy reach Caswell Bay. Both awarded the coveted blue flag beach awards recognising their quality, cleanliness and services with a coastal pathway connecting them. Both bays offer car parking, seasonal life guard duty, beachside cafes, and kiosks which are fully stocked with everything required for a perfect day at the beach.

Langland Brasserie offers a more refined dining experience. The bays are also popular surfing and paddle board locations.

Langland Bay Golf Club is just a short walk from the house. Alongside our award winning beaches, scenic coastal paths and Marina we are blessed with great sporting facilities. With championship golf courses, Olympic sized swimming pool and a full array of water sport activities to enjoy. Culturally benefiting from museums, galleries and theatres with a centre celebrating the works of Dylan Thomas. Swansea offers a direct line to London and Cardiff International Airport is approximately 45 minute drive.

Mumbles is an absolutely charming coastal village, located to the west of The City of Swansea. The village itself offers a full array of quality restaurants and individual boutiques. The village is popular with families due to the beautiful parks, award winning beaches and gardens.

Recently listed in The Sunday Times as the best place to live in Wales. Mumbles is known locally as the gateway to the Gower Peninsular which is the first ever designated area of natural outstanding beauty, with beautiful beaches, interesting coves to explore and breath taking coastal walks.

Very nice place to stay, but…
This tiny house is a very nice place to stay (please note: It’s in the back row!) and it’s very close to the beach! We were 8 people - 5 adults, 3 children all under 6 - and had enough space. However I think there is no chance to have 8 adults sitting at the table! The general cleanliness was good - but I think the housekeeper should work more conscientiously. There was dust bunnies under the beds that appeared when you walked close by. All in all it was worth the money!

Very clean, comfortable townhouse. We were three adult couples visiting for three nights. Excellent location for exploring Mumbles and the Gower peninsula. One block to Langland Bay. Very quiet, lovely property.

Great location,
Wonderful spacious and comfortable accommodation and a great location too. A short walk to the beach on a beautiful sunny day was an added bonus! We appreciated having the information booklet we received from Jenna as it contained all the information needed for ease of access to the property, and suggestions to places of interest and restaurants to visit. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable for our family of eight, we all enjoyed our stay in Mumbles.

Absolutely perfect. Beautiful property, lovely furnishings, high quality bedding and towels, well equipped. Amazing location and beautiful gardens. The property is behind the main house so there is no view of sea only of concrete walls … even though the property had two bathrooms and 4 bedrooms I think you would struggle with 4 couples … lots of plates ect .. think they could do with a new kettle ….

I was very happy with our experience. Jemma was responsive and helpful. Her instructions were clear. The location is superb. It is a quiet location, on a beautiful coastal path. We use the tennis courts and racquets supplied. The property is well appointed and clean.

I really think this property should not be advertised as accommodating 10 people. There were 6 adults and 3 children (under 8 years old) and we were very cramped. The table itself seated a maximum of 7/8 people and this was very tight and there were only stools (too high) for the table for the others. I honestly think a maximum of 6/7 people would be more honest.

Family and friends staycation
We were due to be 8 adults but were eventually only 6. The property was excellent in all regards - great location, clean, very well equipped…. Only one thought - there is plenty of room for 8 adults to sleep (only 2 bathrooms), but tight for 8 adults to sit and eat or watch TV. But easily fixed with a couple more chairs. Overall extremely happy with our stay!
