Beautiful rose garden out the front, Great place to sit and relax, Doug is very knowledgeable about the history and the surrounding area., comfortable bed and every thing you need for a relaxing stay in the hills."

"We can't thank our host, Amanda, enough for her hospitality. "We had a wonderful stay at The Bickley Cottage. The property is just magical. The view is something that is to be seen to be believed. It is just amazing. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Petra answered so many questions that my children asked her and was very accommodating to them. The cottage has been decorated fitting to its history and we instantly felt very comfortable and relaxed. "We had such a pleasant stay. The view from the room, from the kitchen were stunning, enjoyed our interactions with animals and their lovely dogs. We would definitely come back! "

"The cottage was warm and cosy. Most necessities were provided, although some more cutlery would be useful ie more than one teaspoon and two knives. For our stay, which we extended from our initial booking, I would have liked a larger bed. Although comfortable, it was only a double size.
