This property is perfect for 2 families. We had 4 adults and 4 children, aged 16,14,12 and 10. Susanza made us very welcome on arrival and the property was immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the outside eating and entertainment area is ideal for the kids with a football table and dart board. We ate outside for the first few nights but did get chased inside by the mosquitos, which is not surprising considering its rural location and the 30c heat! We were provided with plug in mosquito repellant in every room which was very thoughtful and that did keep the house free of these little beasties!
The best bit about the villa is that it is air conditioned throughout the property with each main room having its own very quiet and efficient unit. The villa has a good washing machine and outdoor airers to dry clothes, a godsend for families! There is a local shop 3km away for basic provisions, we went to the bigger supermarkets in Rovinji for a better selection.
The pool area is much nicer than the photos show, it's very modern with lovely smooth tiles and a good outdoor shower. The pool is very clean and is cleaned every day. The only reason we haven't given a 5* review is because for our large family the pool is a little small, but I am been very picky!
If you plan to BBQ every night, as we did, the BBQ will take a bit of getting used to as it is more of a Chimera and doesn't have bottom vents so the coals take a while to get going.
The villa is perfectly situated to explore Istria. It is 20 mins by car to both coasts. We went to Fasana, Pula and Rovinji many times. We highly recommend taking a boat trip out of Rovinji, we had the best day ever, cliff jumping, sunbathing, exploring and diving off the boat. We also saw Dolphins! We also took the kids to Glanvai Adventure Park, the Istrian version of GoApe, they loved it especially the giant swing, a brilliant local attraction just 20 mins away.
Overall, you will not be disappointed with this villa, it is in the perfect location for an exploring holiday.
