*Per ordinance, we can accommodate a max of 8 guests ages six and above. Additionally, there is space available for 4 more children under the age of six. Ages must be confirmed prior to your stay. This spacious lakefront home makes a perfect Northern Michigan retreat! Easy drives to the quaint town of Suttons Bay or Traverse City for dining and shopping. Expansive front lawn, beautiful lake views in every room, and all the conveniences of home. Enjoy 110 feet of private beach on Suttons Bay.

Bring your own or rent a boat, as there is private mooring and plenty of space to park a trailer. Explore land and water with two kayaks, 1 canoe, and 1 small rowboat (on racks on the beach. Shed holds paddles and beach chairs. Box on beach has life jackets and sand toys. 2 adult bikes available in garage.

Additional Bike, kayak, paddle board and boat rental are also close by.

Guest Access:
Winter Guests- Welcome to northern Michigan, where our wintertime weather can swing from glorious to ferocious in a flash. Each of our properties has snow removal service scheduled to plow with each snowfall amounting to at least 3 inches of snow. If the vehicle you bring is not 4-Wheel or All-Wheel Drive, please be aware of the potential risks accessing the property when snow is present.
You are welcome in any area of the house with the exception of the room accessed through the double doors at the back of the garage. This room is used for our personal belongings.
There are beach chairs and tables stored in the hut at the beach that you are welcome to use. We ask that you please return them to the storage hut in the evenings to prevent them from being lost or damaged.
There are two kayaks and three bikes (2 single, 1 tandem) available for use while staying in the beach house. All can be found in the garage. Please be sure they are properly stored at the end of each day to prevent being lost or damaged.
Firewood is available for your use and can be found in the garage as well.
The Neighborhood:
The Beach House is close to all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Downtown Suttons Bay is an easy walk or bike ride at 1.4 miles away and boasts numerous great restaurants, shops, a public park, and marina. The TART Trail runs through Suttons Bay, which is paved for 60 miles of cycling, walking, or cross-country skiing!
Located an equal distance to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore, with each being a mere 20 minutes away. Enjoy championship golf courses, many wineries and microbreweries, and skiing.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $99 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $1500. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.

There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.
DOCK – You can expect the dock to be available for use Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Please only use the dock for 15-minute loading and unloading of passengers. A mooring ball just beyond it is available for mooring between boat rides. Winds and waves pick up super-quick and can cause damage to boats and docks. There are no protective dock bumpers to prevent potential boat-docking issues.
