"This little gem was just amazing! Just down the road from family so VERY convenient! Home had absolutley everything we needed. Wonderful sun soaked back deck with garden setting and lounge. Beautiful veiws out front, great kitchen and loungeroom! Cant wait to get back again this year!"

"The host was friendly and helpful, but I suggest a review of the needs of a traveler be re-considered as the space is very basic eg no extra cutlery, glassware, plates or coffee mugs if inviting visitors to the room. One hand towel only was provided. Self - catering essentials to support the traveler were minimal eg no cooking spray or oil. No cushions, no extra pillows to provide additional comfort. Shampoo, conditioner and soap also minimal. "

"A beautiful and tranquil place to stay while touring Bruny Island. The breakfast is wonderful and the warm bread is a treat. Beautifully presented unit and has everything I you need. The only thing that I can fault is being a tall person I did not realise how many times and near misses of hitting my head on the curbed wall to ceiling....but that was one of the things I fell on love with from the pictures before booking to stay. I would happily stay again.....we absolutely loved our stay here...

"Really tidy and warm cabins (we stayed in August), perfect space for 2 people - underfloor heating was a big winner. Alex welcomed us warmly, great communication and gave great recommendations to suit our interests, even a spot to photograph aurora. Some noise noticeable through the adjoining wall and balcony with the neighbouring cabin, but not crazy. Quiet spot and handy to attractions in the area - we'd stay again!"

"We booked this accommodation as a 4-day fieldwork base. The mill house has its idiosyncrasies. As long as you set your expectations for camping conditions in a remote part of the world, you will find the structure to be sufficient. The location is spectacular and the jetty is very impressive. All team members expressed their satisfaction with their stay and would book it again for similar work."

"This was a very peaceful location, with plenty of opportunity to see the local wildlife. The pod was well laid out with a spacious deck and comfortable seating. The access road to the units is single lane gravel, rutted and extremely steep, and should be noted as 4wd only. We had to back out all the way in our front wheel drive vehicle. The beach is close by, but isn’t like the white sandy beaches in other parts of the island. It’s more mud than sand, however there is easy access to oysters, and...

"Barnes Bay on Bruney Island, Tasmania, is a fabulous location to de-stress and relax. The house is on the water, surrounded by wildlife, and very private. Massive glass windows allow you to take in the water views from most rooms in the house. It is fitted out nicely, and the kitchen is great."
