"My Bestie and I stayed here for her birthday and absolutely Loved it!! The decor, the history, the layout, the location- perfection! Definitely will try to stay here again down the road :) "

"What a fantastic place to get away from it all! All the basics were there and in great condition. The cabin is well maintained and is very easy to relax in because it is not cluttered or filled to the brim with "stuff". The neighborhood is quiet, and the drive to Linden or Front Royal is short. However, the house is so nice that leaving is hard! "

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"We were able to lounge on the boat and the dock. We got in the water with the pups and also hung out on the deck area while having our Bolivar Bakery breakfast and coffee. "

"We could not have found a better place for three childhood friends to reunite! The home has everything you need and Jay is extremely responsive. A true home away from hom. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and are already making plans to come back in the fall. "

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"Great location, fantastic activities - fishing, tubing on the river, hiking & family dinners. Grandkids had an excellent time. Mike is an awesome host. Our third stay at this house, says it all!"

"Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration."

"The property was exactly as described. The inside was clean and welcoming and comfortable and oh so quiet. We enjoyed the Keurig coffee n the porch where the sun came up and deer waltzed by. "

"Love staying here, quiet and everything I need for an overnight stay with my little dogs. Their generator did great for cooling the apartment when there was a power outage in the area due to thunderstorms."

"This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down "

"This is an amazing property, just as listed. Clean, spacious, gracious hosts that leave snacks and fresh baked cookies. Thoughtful baskets of necessities just in case you forgot something. Fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Games and books galore! We had a group of 9 teachers on summer break that needed a place to relax and have fun together! The outside pool area was just what we needed. Hot tub, water slide, large pool, lounge chairs, yard games, fire pit and materials, you...
