"20 pieces was a great choice for us as we travelled with the kids (18 & 15). The room itself was last with 4 double sized beds in a 2x2 bunk configuration, a large living area with sofa and an efficiency kitchen. There was even a record player and stacks of vinyls in the lobby. The hotel is five minutes from the Kyoto station but in a quiet area tho there is a temple across the street. "This was the best property we stayed while in Japan. Location was perfect, walkable to Gion (10min) and Kiyomizu-dera. Bus stop & Lawson are both 5 min away. Property was very well maintained, and my 7yo daughter enjoyed the large screen from her bunk bed. No traditional dryer but you can dry your clothes in the shower room which has a dryer function! "This was by far our favourite accommodation in Japan. The manager was amazing and the accommodation was spacious, traditional but will all of the modern facilities. We loved it and wished we had spent more time here. In fact, once we moved to Osaka, we travelled back twice to spend time in this area and a little town called Sanjo. "
