"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"We had 4 adults and a 3 year old and 2 dogs for the week. The house was clean,large kitchen area and living room. We encountered rain each day and the effects of Hurricane Helene. The weather could have been better, but we had fun anyway. I would recommend this home. "

"Comfy and cozy home overlooking new river just a half hour from VA Tech. The place was clean and everything was labeled for easy use. While you can hear the trains on the track go by, I found it relaxing like white noise. We came here for a football game, but I would stay here again during warm weather to enjoy the river.
