"So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...

"Perfect night for a quick in and out of town stay. There is a little bar within walking distance that my husband and son went to for a quick beer before bed. Hotels can be hard for a dog so this was exactly what we needed to keep our girl happy. "

"I really love how peaceful the house and the area are. Very beautiful views of Lake Egypt. I love also how close it is to a bigger city like Marion so you can go shopping at Walmart or even go to Carbondale for shopping. I also love how it’s close to a lot of different/beautiful trails. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We really didn’t want to leave and go back to reality. Must stay. "

"Couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy your morning coffee and your evening wine! Exceptional communication, clean and comfortable .....A word of warning to anyone with physical limitations as the property does sit rather high up off the lake with a very steep incline from home to the lake and from the driveway to the entrance door. to lake and from driveway to doorway"

"We stayed there for a Hunting Trip. Myself and 3 other guys. Property was clean. Property was exactly as described. Plenty of parking space. BBQ grill can probably be replaced. Nearing end of life. Fridge in Kitchen could use some maintenance, works great, just leaking water from bottom gasket. All other appliances in working order, air conditioning/heater works great. No complaints.
