The space
This warm and rustic townhome cabin is nestled in the gorgeous Chattahoochee National Forest. Easy to get here without needing 4WD/AWD since it is conveniently located off Highway 60. There is so much we love about this place:
Surrounded by nature, you are minutes away from numerous areas to hike, canoe, tube, fish, hunt, and adventure. In addition, the fun Toccoa River Swinging Bridge is just down the road, and a little farther is Serenberry Vineyards. You are also centrally located right off a major country highway between some of the best towns in North Georgia, including Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and Dahlonega, each only 30 minutes away. Burt's Pumpkin Farm, numerous apple orchards, Fausett Sunflower Farm, Gibbs Gardens, and Helen, GA are only about an hour away.
Continue enjoying the outdoors in the evenings by relaxing on the porch in a rocking or Adirondack chair or soaking in the private spa hot tub. There are several fire pits located on the property, including one down by the river.
Entertainment: 55" High Definition TV, Disney+, Wifi, DVD's, Roku, Xbox 360 with Kinect and a couple of games. Or if you are looking to unplug, grab a cozy throw blanket and settle on the leather couch in front of the fire place with a glass of wine and a good book, magazine or board/card game.
Kitchen: full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and oven. We have included many of the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen. We also have tried to provide the basic essentials for cooking: oil, spices, paper towels, aluminum foil, dish soap, etc.
We also provide both a charcoal grill and a gas grill.
Bed/bath: 2 bedrooms with queen beds and another daybed with trundle in the loft comfortably sleep 6. An HD TV with Roku is located in the upstairs bedroom. We provide linens, bath towels, laundry detergent, starter soap, shampoo, tissues, and toilet paper. You may even have enough for your entire stay!
One final reason we love this place is how family-friendly it is: the property includes gentle slopes and grassy lawns great for letting children run around safely. Having small children ourselves, we have provided amenities to make it easy to get away with children: a pack-n-play, safety gates, baby/toddler seat, and kid's dishes and utensils.
Please note: this is a quiet, family-friendly property. Reservations for loud groups or parties are not welcome. Additionally, this property is NOT 420 friendly
Guest access
The riverside area is available for fishing and contains fire pits for hotdogs or smores or just relaxing by the water. It is a two minute walk from the cabin.
Other things to note
This cabin is part of a secluded Toccoa River community. There are 8 cabin-style townhomes on the 11 acre property (two triplexes and one duplex). We are a middle unit in one of the buildings with three homes. Though not exclusive, it is very quiet and peaceful. The only shared amenities are the fire pits by the river. You may see/hear other guests nearby, but we have found given the size of the property, the undeveloped surrounding acreage tends to provide the privacy most desire.
The nearest large grocery store is about 30 minutes away, so come prepared. We have tried to provide the bath, paper, and cooking essentials to help you get started.
We regret that we do not allow pets under any circumstances. We stay at this property throughout the year, and several members of our family have severe allergies.
As mentioned above, this is a quiet, family friendly property. Reservations for loud groups or parties are not welcome.
