Stunning Views From This Beautiful Home in the Country! 30 min from Waterton.

This beautiful home is open and spacious with big bright windows in every room! The mountain views can be seen from all the main rooms in the house and two of the bedrooms. A beautiful, full kitchen with a huge island opens to the living and dining area for great conversations while cooking! A music/toy room is separated by a bright glass door (which also serves as the 5th bedroom).

The second-floor houses the bedrooms and a family room for movies, quiet reading or just hanging out together! The master bedroom is a luxurious suite with a large jacuzzi tub, King bed, and a quaint sitting alcove. The main bathroom is like a SPA with a steam shower, jetted tub and an infrared sauna!


Outside in the yard is a sunken trampoline, and a nice deck with a BBQ, table, and lounge furniture. There is a large fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs for those peaceful summer nights. There are hammocks in the yard for lounging. You won't tire of the magnificent views and beautiful natural setting! Owners will be staying in the adjoining garage suite to assist you with anything you should need.

Wow - what a beautiful house
Pictures do not do this house justice. What a peaceful and tranquil setting. The views were amazing. The inside of the house was so spacious. Communication with Kathryn was awesome. The only downside was we weren't able to stay longer. We hope to return if we return to this area.

A Wonderful VRBO stay in Leavitt for All Ages!!
Our group, ranging in age from 6 to 50, had a fantastic two-night stay at this VRBO in Leavitt. The ambiance was simply wonderful, with open fields and stunning mountain views. Evenings were particularly magical as we were often visited by deers, adding to the serene and picturesque environment. The property offered plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the volleyball court, the bouncy pad and the fire pit place, which were perfect for both kids and adults alike. The space was well-maintained and provided ample room for everyone to relax and have fun. A special mention to Mike and his family, who were incredibly accommodating. They were always prompt in handling our queries and provided thorough written instructions on how things worked in the house and directions to reach it. Their guidance made our stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, this VRBO was an ideal choice for our multi-generational group, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet activity-filled getaway in Leavitt. We would certainly book again with no doubt..

Great Location and Views of the Mountains
We chose this location specifically for the views of the Glacier and Waterton mountains, and it did not disappoint. Great hosts, very responsive, very clean, big kitchen, backyard was perfect for children. Plenty of room inside and out for a large family. Definitely will be back.

Family Reunion
We had an amazing few days at our accommodations. There were 12 of us and plenty of room for us to sleep, eat and visit. The location is stunning and peaceful. Our host Kathryn was superb. She was very helpful and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend this holiday home.

We had a great time at Kathryn’s place! The house is very nice with lots of room and the view is spectacular. We also appreciated all of the available kid items and the trampoline was a big hit!

Wonderful rural escape!
We had a great stay at Kathryn and Mike's property. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space. We gazed at the stars and were able see birds of prey at dusk...bliss! Truly a great palce to stay if you want to get away from it all all and stay close to Waterton Lakes National Park - highly recommended!

Girls weekend
The house is a perfect setup for large groups, but I’m not sure I would consider it “new “ anymore, however the view and the peace and quiet are priceless. Plenty of beds, which are oh so comfortable, and lots of space to spread out and a great kitchen for numerous cooks. Kathryn is quick to respond both prior to booking and whenever we needed to contact her during our stay. There were a few basics missing from the pantry but that was quickly corrected and perhaps a couple more mugs would have been nice. Also directions on working the shower and the air conditioning (which was much appreciated on a hot weekend)would have been helpful. I would recommend staying here. Thanks Kathryn for opening your home to others.

Large, inviting, economical rural home within view of Waterton National Park
Our family of 6 had a pleasant stay in this very spacious, well appointed home in a rural setting within view of Waterton Park. The hosts were very accommodating and available. The price was right. The space age shower in one bathroom was, well, a bit too much so for us, though the adjacent sauna was a treat. Great setting for a large family or group retreat to Waterton.

This was a great, comfortable place for our family
We had a lovely 10-day stay at this wonderful house.We wanted to hike in east Glacier National Park in the U.S. and at Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada.It was a great location to hit both parks.Additionally, the house itself is great for just some good R&R. Its in a lovely rural area so it was extremely quiet and peaceful (we did hear the occasional "moo" from other local residents).The house is a duplex.The owners live in the other side.That was great! If we needed anything, it was really easy to get ahold of them.The house is set up for kids.It is brilliantly designed and outfitted to handle kids and adults.We loved the way the comfortable bedrooms were all upstairs, and the main floor was reserved for family time. The toys saved our lives, because we had a lone 2-yr-old grandson with us who loved to get up very early.It was great to have a piano, 3 comfortable couches in the living rm, and a big dining room table.The kitchen is truly outfitted for cooking and eating together.There are plenty of cooking utensils, silverware, plates, and glasses. The fridge easily handled our Costco run that lasted 10 days.We used the propane grill outside.The trampoline and slide were great hits.We loved having laundry on-site and when we were tired after days of hiking, canoeing, and running, we used our own Netflix subscr. on the TV in the cozy upstairs family room.We found the house clean and organized upon arrival and supplied with shampoo, cond., soap, towels, linens and extra blankets.Although the A/C was temperamental during our stay, the temp cooled off at night and we were fine.The owners were very responsive to the need for repair and got it fixed as soon as possible.We were so happy to find this family home set up to welcome our family.Just know, it is out in the boondocks!We would recommend that you plan on stocking up on food at a Costco near Calgary or Lethbridge before you come, and there are also smaller grocery stores in Ft. McLeod and Cardston if you need to restock on supplies during your stay. Although there are restaurants in Waterton, we wanted to cook and eat a lot at home. We look forward to coming back, even if we have a smaller group of people.The owners were very welcoming, helpful, and truly wonderful people. I can happily recommend a good long stay here in Leavitt!

The view was amazing but we were disappointed in the condition of the house and yard.
We liked the overall home but it was not clean and there were many things that needed to be repaired. The view out of one of the windows in the master bedroom looked out over a fenced in area that was littered with junk. The other window view was stunning. The fire pit was also filled with junk and there was no hot tub as advertised. I don't count the tub in the master bedroom as a hot tub. The kids loved the in ground trampoline and the kittens and bunny that belonged to the owner that lived next door. We paid extra for the two nights we were there because it was a Canadian holiday but don't feel like we got what we paid for.

Ideal base camp for exploring Waterton and Glacier National Parks
5 of us used the home as a base camp for our hiking and photography trip. We spent a few days exploring both Waterton and Glacier parks. The residence is only about 25 minutes from the Waterton park gate and less than 90 minutes from the Glacier park gate. For those not wanting to use the kitchen or barbecue, the best dining options can be found in the Waterton Village. A large well equipped grocery store is about 20 minutes away in Cardston. The views from the back deck are spectacular. The home is out in the country. On a cloudless night the night sky is the most spectacular I have ever seen with the naked eye.

Lovely spot!
We are a family group of seven adults and seven children ages 13 months to 11 years. This accommodation fit our needs perfectly and more than met our expectations. The most amazing feature is the absolutely beautiful view that surrounds this property! The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean, well maintained and well equipped. The beds are super comfortable. Kathryn was a gracious and welcoming hostess. A highlight for the grandkids was the in-ground trampoline as well as the sweet, little outdoor kitten that lives on the property. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy time with family or friends in a beautiful location.

Beautiful Home, stayed here when visiting Glacier National Park (US).
Thank you Kathryn and Mike for having us at your beautiful house! Perfect place for trips to nearby Waterton and Glacier National Park (US). Kathryn and Mike were great hosts, I'd recommend to try to arrive before dark, if possible, as it'll be easier to find the house, but Kathryn was very helpful in assisting us with directions when needed. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful new home with all the amenities!
The view from the property is incredible of the Canadian Rockies in the back ground! Plenty of space to lounge and take it easy. The location is close enough to enjoy any and all of Waterton Glacier Park.What a great village!People or so nice!!!! Groceries and resteraunts close by.The owners are very easy to plan and talk with.They answered all the questions we had in a very timely order. Next trip to the Canadian Rockies we will definitely rent from Kathryn.

Beautiful home with extra amenities. Kids loved the steam shower and sauna after a long hike. They really loved the in-ground trampoline and space outdoors to play football. The view was amazing, which happen to be from every window you looked out.

Amazing views and convenient location
We loved this place so much, we decided to stay longer upon our arrival! The views here are breathtaking, with the prairies meeting the mountains just outside the window. It is a location that feels remote, but is only a half hour drive from the city. We were welcomed by Mike and Kathryn for our stay. When we pulled up, Mike gave us a tour of the house, showing us all that it had to offer. The house comes with a trampoline, BBQ, hammocks, board games, books, toys, apple TV (Netflix), a fully equipped kitchen, and ample sleeping space. While the house is only two floors, we never felt like we were on top of each other. It is also in excellent condition. During our visit, it was easy to travel to Lethbridge, Waterton Lakes, Milk River, and Raymond. To give you an idea, it took us a half hour to get to Lethbridge. We would highly recommend this property for family and multi-family vacations.
