"This house was perfect for our family gathering in my wife’s hometown. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep, and a large dining/living room area for a family meal and space to visit. The beds were comfortable. 2 grandsons claimed the room in the basement with a couch and loveseat. This will definitely be top of our list again if we have another family gathering here. Large smart TV in the main room. Smaller TV in some of the bedrooms. Nice book collection, and some DVD’s."

"Very quiet location just out of town. Lots of space inside and out. Great hosts. "

"my stay at the cottage is exactly what i needed. the quiet of being in the heart of Whiterock Conservancy was a wonderful place to rest, re-set, and rejuvenate. the trails are so close and my dog and i were able to explore quite a few paths."

"We stayed because property is between IA State Fair, and our extended family in Minburn. Kids/Grandkids came down from Twin Cities and we from Chicago. Adel is a nice town and property is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Home is large and comfortable, property from 1930's? All appliances and kitchen and beds were in good shape. (Appreciated the A/C)! We had to work out some issues with the owner, but she responded quickly and appropriately. We all had a great time."

"The house was big and beautiful! Very easy to check in and the manager was great getting back to me when I had questions. the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Hot tub was nice. Loved the gas stove in the living room for heat. The kids (and adults) loved watching the birds at the feeder. The only thing we would change is having a tv in the living room. When grandsons wanted to watch tv, someone had to be in the basement with them. So then the family was separated. But maybe...

"The house was exactly as advertised! Clean, plenty of bedrooms and the dining table was big enough for game night! Check in was so easy and Darlene was so easy to talk to and very accommodating! "

"This is our second stay and will look forward to our third. Excellent place to get away from the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy family and friends."

"My family stayed at this beautiful home while visiting Winterset. The home is gorgeous and has great antique details. Easy walk to the square. Great communication with owners. "

"The house was very clean and inviting. We had a little communication issue about where the keys were supposed to be, so finding the keys to get in was a little tricky at -3 degree temperatures. Other than that, everything was very good and the host was very hospitable. "

"We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by trees that gave us the perfect sense of peace and seclusion. One of the highlights was our hike down to the river—the fall colors were beautiful, and the sun reflecting off the water was breathtaking. The kids loved the arcade games, and even the adults got into it! We were also visited by an adorable cat and dog from the neighbors, who were so...

"Very peaceful setting. Large 4-season porch overlooking pond, with lots of space to spread out. Large deck catches sunlight all day!"

"We stayed here on a trip for the Knoxville Nationals. Went to the John Wayne Museum, seen the bridges. The house is a nice house, met many locals at the pharmacy-resturaunt in the square downtown, very friendly, ate at several other local spots, all good service and food. The area is quiet and the house in great shape, clean, had plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend if you need a place in this area. "
